H2088–זֶה–zeh

And the carcases of this people shall be food for the fowl of the heavens, and for the beasts of the earth; and none shall scare [ergänzt: them] away.

הַזֶּה֙ (זֶּה֙) Zeh “this”

Why hath this people of Jerusalem slidden back with a perpetual backsliding? They hold fast deceit, they refuse to return.

הַזֶּ֛ה (זֶּ֛ה) Zeh “this”

Shall I not visit them for these [ergänzt: things]? saith Jehovah; shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this?

כָּזֶ֔ה (זֶ֔ה) Zeh “this [one]”

therefore thus saith Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel, Behold, I will feed this people with wormwood, and give them water of gall to drink,

הַזֶּ֖ה (זֶּ֖ה) Zeh “this”

Woe is me, for my wound! My stroke is hard to heal, and I had said, Yea, this is [ergänzt: my] grief, and I will bear it.

זֶ֥ה zeh “this”

that I may perform the oath that I have sworn unto your fathers, to give them a land flowing with milk and honey, as it is this day. And I answered and said, Amen, Jehovah!

הַזֶּ֑ה (זֶּ֑ה) Zeh “this”

For I earnestly protested unto your fathers, in the day that I brought them up out of the land of Egypt, unto this day, rising early and protesting, saying, Hearken unto my voice.

הַזֶּ֔ה (זֶּ֔ה) Zeh “this”

And thou, pray not for this people, neither lift up cry nor prayer for them; for I will not hear in the time that they cry unto me for their trouble.

הַזֶּ֔ה (זֶּ֔ה) Zeh “this”

This evil people, who refuse to hear my words, who walk in the stubbornness of their heart, and go after other gods, to serve them and to worship them, shall even be as this girdle which is good for nothing.

הַזֶּ֨ה (זֶּ֨ה) Zeh “this”הַזֶּ֔ה (זֶּ֔ה) Zeh “this”

And thou shalt speak unto them this word: Thus saith Jehovah, the God of Israel, Every skin shall be filled with wine. And they will say unto thee, Do we not very well know that every skin shall be filled with wine?

הַזֶּ֗ה (זֶּ֗ה) Zeh “this”

This shall be thy lot, thy measured portion from me, saith Jehovah; because thou hast forgotten me, and confided in falsehood.

זֶ֣ה zeh “this”

Thus saith Jehovah to this people: Even so have they loved to wander, they have not refrained their feet; and Jehovah hath no delight in them: now will he remember their iniquity, and visit their sins.

הַזֶּ֗ה (זֶּ֗ה) Zeh “this”

And Jehovah said unto me, Pray not for this people for their good.

הַזֶּ֖ה (זֶּ֖ה) Zeh “this”

And I said, Alas, Lord Jehovah! Behold, the prophets say unto them, Ye shall not see the sword, neither shall ye have famine; for I will give you assured peace in this place.

הַזֶּֽה׃ (זֶּֽה) Zeh “this”

And thou shalt say this word unto them: Let mine eyes run down with tears, night and day, and not cease; for the virgin daughter of my people is broken with a great breach, with a very grievous blow.

הַזֶּ֔ה (זֶּ֔ה) Zeh “this”

And Jehovah said unto me, Though Moses and Samuel stood before me, my soul [ergänzt: would] not [ergänzt: turn] toward this people. Send [ergänzt: them] out of my sight, and let them go forth.

הַזֶּ֑ה (זֶּ֑ה) Zeh “this”

And I will make thee unto this people a strong brazen wall; and they shall fight against thee, but they shall not prevail against thee: for I am with thee, to save thee and to deliver thee, saith Jehovah;

הַזֶּ֗ה (זֶּ֗ה) Zeh “this”

Thou shalt not take thee a wife, and thou shalt not have sons nor daughters in this place.

הַזֶּֽה׃ (זֶּֽה) Zeh “this”

For thus saith Jehovah concerning the sons and concerning the daughters that are born in this place, and concerning their mothers that bear them, and concerning their fathers that beget them in this land:

הַזֶּ֑ה (זֶּ֑ה) Zeh “this”

For thus saith Jehovah: Enter not into the house of wailing, neither go to lament or bemoan them; for I have taken away my peace from this people, saith Jehovah, the loving-kindness and the tender mercies.

הַזֶּה֙ (זֶּה֙) Zeh “this”

For thus saith Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel: Behold, I will cause to cease out of this place, before your eyes, and in your days, the voice of mirth and the voice of joy, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride.

הַזֶּ֛ה (זֶּ֛ה) Zeh “this”

And it shall come to pass, when thou shalt declare unto this people all these words, and they shall say unto thee, Wherefore hath Jehovah pronounced all this great evil against us? and what is our iniquity? and what is our sin which we have committed against Jehovah our God?

הַזֶּ֔ה (זֶּ֔ה) Zeh “this”

House of Israel, cannot I do with you as this potter? saith Jehovah. Behold, as the clay in the potter's hand, so are ye in my hand, house of Israel.

הַזֶּ֜ה (זֶּ֜ה) Zeh “this”

and say, Hear the word of Jehovah, O kings of Judah, and inhabitants of Jerusalem. Thus saith Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel: Behold, I will bring evil upon this place, the which whosoever heareth, his ears shall tingle;

הַזֶּ֔ה (זֶּ֔ה) Zeh “this”

because they have forsaken me, and have estranged this place [ergänzt: from me], and have burned incense in it unto other gods, whom neither they nor their fathers have known, nor the kings of Judah; and have filled this place with the blood of innocents;
