H2063–זֹאת–zot

And Achan answered Joshua, and said, Of a truth I have sinned against Jehovah, the God of Israel, and thus and thus have I done:

וְכָזֹ֥את (זֹ֥את) Zot “this”וְכָזֹ֖את (זֹ֖את) Zot “this”

This we will do to them, and let them live; lest wrath be upon us, because of the oath which we sware unto them.

זֹ֛את zot “this”

And Jehovah said unto Joshua, Be not afraid because of them; for to-morrow at this time will I deliver them up all slain before Israel: thou shalt hock their horses, and burn their chariots with fire.

הַזֹּ֗את (זֹּ֗את) Zot “this”

So Joshua took all that land, the hill-country, and all the South, and all the land of Goshen, and the lowland, and the Arabah, and the hill-country of Israel, and the lowland of the same;

הַזֹּ֗את (זֹּ֗את) Zot “this”

This is the land that yet remaineth: all the regions of the Philistines, and all the Geshurites;

זֹ֥את zot “this”

Now therefore divide this land for an inheritance unto the nine tribes, and the half-tribe of Manasseh.

הַזֹּ֛את (זֹּ֛את) Zot “this”

And the border of the children of Reuben was the Jordan, and the border [ergänzt: thereof]. This was the inheritance of the children of Reuben according to their families, the cities and the villages thereof.

זֹ֣את zot “this”

This is the inheritance of the children of Gad according to their families, the cities and the villages thereof.

זֹ֛את zot “this”

This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Judah according to their families.

זֹ֗את Zot “this”

From Tappuah the border went along westward to the brook of Kanah; and the goings out thereof were at the sea. This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Ephraim according to their families;

Yet the children of Manasseh could not drive out [ergänzt: the inhabitants of] those cities; but the Canaanites would dwell in that land.

הַזֹּֽאת׃ (זֹּֽאת) Zot “this”

And the border extended [ergänzt: thence], and turned about on the west quarter southward, from the mountain that lieth before Beth-horon southward; and the goings out thereof were at Kiriath-baal (the same is Kiriath-jearim), a city of the children of Judah: this was the west quarter.

זֹ֖את zot “this”

And the Jordan was the border of it on the east quarter. This was the inheritance of the children of Benjamin, by the borders thereof round about, according to their families.

זֹ֡את zot “this”

and Zelah, Eleph, and the Jebusite (the same is Jerusalem), Gibeath, [ergänzt: and] Kiriath; fourteen cities with their villages. This is the inheritance of the children of Benjamin according to their families.

זֹ֛את zot “this”

and all the villages that were round about these cities to Baalath-beer, Ramah of the South. This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Simeon according to their families.

זֹ֗את Zot “this”

This is the inheritance of the children of Zebulun according to their families, these cities with their villages.

זֹ֛את zot “this”

This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Issachar according to their families, the cities with their villages.

זֹ֗את Zot “this”

This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Asher according to their families, these cities with their villages.

זֹ֗את Zot “this”

This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Naphtali according to their families, the cities with their villages.

זֹ֗את Zot “this”

This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Dan according to their families, these cities with their villages.

זֹ֗את Zot “this”

and if we have not [ergänzt: rather] out of carefulness done this, [ergänzt: and] of purpose, saying, In time to come your children might speak unto our children, saying, What have ye to do with Jehovah, the God of Israel?

know for a certainty that Jehovah your God will no more drive these nations from out of your sight; but they shall be a snare and a trap unto you, and a scourge in your sides, and thorns in your eyes, until ye perish from off this good land which Jehovah your God hath given you.

הַזֹּ֔את (זֹּ֔את) Zot “this”

And it shall come to pass, that as all the good things are come upon you of which Jehovah your God spake unto you, so will Jehovah bring upon you all the evil things, until he have destroyed you from off this good land which Jehovah your God hath given you.

And Joshua said unto all the people, Behold, this stone shall be a witness against us; for it hath heard all the words of Jehovah which he spake unto us: it shall be therefore a witness against you, lest ye deny your God.

הַזֹּאת֙ (זֹּאת֙) zoT “this”

And Manasseh did not drive out [ergänzt: the inhabitants of] Beth-shean and its towns, nor [ergänzt: of] Taanach and its towns, nor the inhabitants of Dor and its towns, nor the inhabitants of Ibleam and its towns, nor the inhabitants of Megiddo and its towns; but the Canaanites would dwell in that land.
