H1653–גֶּ֫שֶׁם–ge.shem

Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: I will even rend it with a stormy wind in my wrath; and there shall be an overflowing shower in mine anger, and great hailstones in wrath to consume it.

וְגֶ֤שֶׁם (גֶ֤שֶׁם) Ge.shem “rain”

And I will make them and the places round about my hill a blessing; and I will cause the shower to come down in its season; there shall be showers of blessing.

הַגֶּ֙שֶׁם֙ (גֶּ֙שֶׁם֙) Ge.shem “rain”גִּשְׁמֵ֥י gish.Mei “rains of”

And with pestilence and with blood will I enter into judgment with him; and I will rain upon him, and upon his hordes, and upon the many peoples that are with him, an overflowing shower, and great hailstones, fire, and brimstone.

And let us know, let us follow on to know Jehovah: his going forth is sure as the morning; and he will come unto us as the rain, as the latter rain that watereth the earth.

כַגֶּ֙שֶׁם֙ (גֶּ֙שֶׁם֙) Ge.shem “rain”

Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in Jehovah your God; for he giveth you the former rain in just measure, and he causeth to come down for you the rain, the former rain and the latter rain, in the first [ergänzt: month].

And I also have withholden the rain from you, when there were yet three months to the harvest; and I caused it to rain upon one city, and caused it not to rain upon another city: one piece was rained upon, and the piece whereupon it rained not withered.

Ask ye of Jehovah rain in the time of the latter rain, [ergänzt: even of] Jehovah that maketh lightnings; and he will give them showers of rain, to every one grass in the field.

And it shall be, that whoso of [ergänzt: all] the families of the earth goeth not up unto Jerusalem to worship the King, Jehovah of hosts, upon them there shall be no rain.
