H1369–גְּבוּרָה–ge.vu.rah

Look down from the heavens, and behold from the habitation of thy holiness and of thy glory! Where is thy zeal and thy strength, the sounding of thy bowels and of thy tender mercies? Are they restrained toward me?

וּגְב֣וּרֹתֶ֔ךָ (גְב֣וּרֹתֶ֔) ge.Vu.ro.Te. “mighty deeds”

Thus saith Jehovah: Let not the wise glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty glory in his might; let not the rich glory in his riches:

בִּגְבֽוּרָת֑וֹ (גְבֽוּרָת֑) g.vu.ra.T “might”

There is none like unto thee, Jehovah; thou art great, and thy name is great in might.

בִּגְבוּרָֽה׃ (גְבוּרָֽה) g.vu.Rah “strength”

Therefore, behold, I will this once cause them to know, I will cause them to know my hand and my might; and they shall know that my name is Jehovah.

גְּבֽוּרָתִ֑י (גְּבֽוּרָתִ֑) ge.vu.ra.T “might”

For the land is full of adulterers; for because of execration the land mourneth. The pastures of the wilderness are dried up; for their course is evil, and their force is not right.

וּגְבוּרָתָ֖ם (גְבוּרָתָ֖) ge.vu.ra.Ta “strength”

Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: Behold, I will break the bow of Elam, the chief of their might.

The mighty men of Babylon have ceased to fight, they are sitting in the fortresses; their might hath failed, they are become as women: they have set her dwelling places on fire; her bars are broken.

There is Edom, her kings, and all her princes, who in their might are laid with them that are slain by the sword: they lie with the uncircumcised, and with them that go down to the pit.

There are the princes of the north, all of them, and all the Zidonians, that are gone down with the slain -- ashamed of the terror which they caused through their might; and they lie uncircumcised with them that are slain by the sword, and bear their confusion with them that go down to the pit.

מִגְבֽוּרָתָם֙ (גְבֽוּרָתָ) g.vu.ra.Ta “strength”

But truly I am filled with power by the Spirit of Jehovah, and with judgment and with might, to declare unto Jacob his transgression, and to Israel his sin.

-- The nations shall see, and be ashamed for all their might: they shall lay [ergänzt: their] hand upon [ergänzt: their] mouth, their ears shall be deaf.
