Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance;

אֶֽרֶץ־ 'e.retz- “[the] land of”

And he called for a famine upon the land; he broke the whole staff of bread.

הָאָ֑רֶץ (אָ֑רֶץ) 'A.retz “land”

And Israel came into Egypt, and Jacob sojourned in the land of Ham.

בְּאֶֽרֶץ־ (אֶֽרֶץ) 'e.retz- “[the] land of”

They set his signs among them, and miracles in the land of Ham.

בְּאֶ֣רֶץ (אֶ֣רֶץ) 'E.retz “[the] land of”

Their land swarmed with frogs, -- in the chambers of their kings.

אַרְצָ֣ם (אַרְצָ֣) 'ar.Tza “land”

He gave them hail for rain, [ergänzt: and] flaming fire in their land;

בְּאַרְצָֽם׃ (אַרְצָֽ) 'ar.Tza “land”

And they devoured every herb in their land, and ate up the fruit of their ground.

בְּאַרְצָ֑ם (אַרְצָ֑) 'ar.Tza “land”

And he smote every firstborn in their land, the firstfruits of all their vigour.

בְּאַרְצָ֑ם (אַרְצָ֑) 'ar.Tza “land”

And he gave them the lands of the nations, and they took possession of the labour of the peoples:

אַרְצ֣וֹת 'ar.Tzot “lands of”

The earth opened and swallowed up Dathan, and covered the company of Abiram;

אֶ֭רֶץ 'E.retz “[the] earth”

Wondrous works in the land of Ham, terrible things by the Red Sea.

בְּאֶ֣רֶץ (אֶ֣רֶץ) 'E.retz “[the] land of”

And they despised the pleasant land; they believed not his word,

בְּאֶ֣רֶץ (אֶ֣רֶץ) 'E.retz “[the] land of”

And that he would make their seed fall among the nations, and disperse them through the countries.

בָּאֲרָצֽוֹת׃ (אֲרָצֽוֹת) 'a.ra.Tzot “lands”

And shed innocent blood, the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed unto the idols of Canaan; and the land was polluted with blood.

הָ֝אָ֗רֶץ (אָ֗רֶץ) 'A.retz “land”

And gathered out of the countries, from the east and from the west, from the north and from the sea.

וּֽמֵאֲרָצ֗וֹת (אֲרָצ֗וֹת) 'a.ra.Tzot “[the] lands”

A fruitful land into a plain of salt, for the wickedness of them that dwell therein.

אֶ֣רֶץ 'E.retz “a land of”

He maketh the wilderness into a pool of water, and the dry land into water-springs;

וְאֶ֥רֶץ (אֶ֥רֶץ) 'E.retz “a land”

Be thou exalted above the heavens, O God, and thy glory above all the earth.

הָאָ֣רֶץ (אָ֣רֶץ) 'A.retz “earth”

Let them be before Jehovah continually, that he may cut off the memory of them from the earth:

מֵאֶ֣רֶץ (אֶ֣רֶץ) 'E.retz “[the] earth”

He shall judge among the nations; he shall fill [ergänzt: all places] with dead bodies; he shall smite through the head over a great country.

אֶ֥רֶץ 'E.retz “[the] earth”

His seed shall be mighty in the land; the generation of the upright shall be blessed.

בָּ֭אָרֶץ (אָרֶץ) 'a.retz “land”

Who humbleth himself to look on the heavens and on the earth?

וּבָאָֽרֶץ׃ (אָֽרֶץ) 'A.retz “earth”

Tremble, thou earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the +God of Jacob,

אָ֑רֶץ 'A.retz “O earth”

Ye are blessed of Jehovah, who made the heavens and the earth.

וָאָֽרֶץ׃ (אָֽרֶץ) 'A.retz “earth”

The heavens are the heavens of Jehovah, but the earth hath he given to the children of men.

וְ֝הָאָ֗רֶץ (אָ֗רֶץ) 'A.retz “earth”
