And above were costly stones, even hewn stone, according to measure, and cedar-wood.

וָאָֽרֶז׃ (אָֽרֶז) 'A.rez “cedar”

And the great court round about had three courses of hewn stone, and a course of cedar beams; like as the inner court of the house of Jehovah, and the porch of the house.

אֲרָזִ֑ים 'a.ra.Zim “cedar<s>”

(now Hiram the king of Tyre had furnished Solomon with cedar-trees and fir-trees, and with gold, according to all his desire), that then king Solomon gave Hiram twenty cities in the land of Galilee.

And the king made silver to be in Jerusalem as stones, and cedars made he to be as the sycomore-trees that are in the lowland, for abundance.

And Jehoash the king of Israel sent to Amaziah king of Judah, saying, The thistle that was in Lebanon sent to the cedar that was in Lebanon, saying, Give thy daughter to my son to wife: and there passed by a wild beast that was in Lebanon, and trod down the thistle.

By thy messengers thou hast defied the Lord, and hast said, With the multitude of my chariots am I come up to the height of the mountains, to the innermost parts of Lebanon; and I will cut down the tall cedars thereof, and the choice fir-trees thereof; and I will enter into his farthest lodging-place, the forest of his fruitful field.

And Hiram king of Tyre sent messengers to David, and cedar-trees, and masons, and carpenters, to build him a house.

He moveth his tail like a cedar: The sinews of his thighs are knit together.

The voice of Jehovah breaketh the cedars; Yea, Jehovah breaketh in pieces the cedars of Lebanon.

The mountains were covered with the shadow of it, And the boughs thereof were [ergänzt: like] cedars of God.

The righteous shall flourish like the palm-tree: He shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.

כְּאֶ֖רֶז (אֶ֖רֶז) 'E.rez “a cedar”

The trees of Jehovah are filled [ergänzt: with moisture], The cedars of Lebanon, which he hath planted;

אַֽרְזֵ֥י 'ar.Zei “[the] cedars of”

Mountains and all hills; Fruitful trees and all cedars;

אֲרָזִֽים׃ 'a.ra.Zim “cedars”

The beams of our house are cedars, [ergänzt: And] our rafters are firs.

אֲרָזִ֔ים 'a.ra.Zim “[are] cedar<s>”

His legs are [ergänzt: as] pillars of marble, set upon sockets of fine gold: His aspect is like Lebanon, excellent as the cedars.

If she be a wall, We will build upon her a turret of silver: And if she be a door, We will inclose her with boards of cedar.
