Happy are thy men! happy are these thy servants, who stand continually before thee, who hear thy wisdom!

אֵ֑לֶּה 'E.leh “these”

And Elijah the Tishbite, of the inhabitants of Gilead, said to Ahab, As Jehovah the God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, except by my word.

הָאֵ֖לֶּה (אֵ֖לֶּה) 'E.leh “these”

And it came to pass after these things, that the son of the woman, the mistress of the house, fell sick; and his sickness was so severe that there was no breath left in him.

הָאֵ֔לֶּה (אֵ֔לֶּה) 'E.leh “these”

And it came to pass at [ergänzt: the time of] the offering up of the oblation, that Elijah the prophet drew near, and said, Jehovah, God of Abraham, Isaac and Israel, let it be known this day that thou art God in Israel, and that I am thy servant, and that I have done all these things by thy word.

הָאֵֽלֶּה׃ (אֵֽלֶּה) 'E.leh “these”

And these servants of the princes of the provinces came out of the city, and the army that followed them.

וְאֵ֙לֶּה֙ (אֵ֙לֶּה֙) 'E.leh “these [men]”

And they encamped one over against the other seven days; and it came to pass that on the seventh day the battle was joined; and the children of Israel smote of the Syrians a hundred thousand footmen in one day.

And it came to pass after these things, [ergänzt: that] Naboth the Jizreelite had a vineyard, which was in Jizreel, by the side of the palace of Ahab king of Samaria.

And it came to pass when Ahab heard these words, that he rent his garments, and put sackcloth upon his flesh, and fasted, and lay in sackcloth, and went softly.

הָאֵ֙לֶּה֙ (אֵ֙לֶּה֙) 'E.leh “these”

And Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah made for himself horns of iron, and he said, Thus saith Jehovah: With these shalt thou push the Syrians, until thou have exterminated them.

בְּאֵ֛לֶּה (אֵ֛לֶּה) 'E.leh “these”

And he said, I saw all Israel scattered upon the mountains, as sheep that have no shepherd. And Jehovah said, These have no master: let them return every man to his house in peace.

לָאֵ֔לֶּה (אֵ֔לֶּה) 'E.leh “these”

And now, behold, Jehovah has put a lying spirit in the mouth of all these thy prophets, and Jehovah has spoken evil concerning thee.

אֵ֑לֶּה 'E.leh “these”

And he said to them, What manner of man was he that came up to meet you, and told you these words?

הָאֵֽלֶּה׃ (אֵֽלֶּה) 'E.leh “these”

And again he sent the captain of a third fifty with his fifty. And the third captain of fifty went up, and came and fell on his knees before Elijah, and besought him and said to him, Man of God, I pray thee, let my life, and the life of these fifty thy servants, be precious in thy sight.

אֵ֛לֶּה 'E.leh “these”

And he went forth to the source of the waters, and cast the salt in there, and said, Thus saith Jehovah: I have healed these waters: there shall not be from thence any more death or barrenness.

הָאֵ֔לֶּה (אֵ֔לֶּה) 'E.leh “these”

And the king of Israel said, Alas! that Jehovah has called these three kings together, to give them into the hand of Moab!

הָאֵ֔לֶּה (אֵ֔לֶּה) 'E.leh “these”

And Elisha said to the king of Israel, What have I to do with thee? go to the prophets of thy father and to the prophets of thy mother. And the king of Israel said to him, Not so, for Jehovah has called these three kings to give them into the hand of Moab.

הָאֵ֔לֶּה (אֵ֔לֶּה) 'E.leh “these”

and go in, and shut the door upon thee and upon thy sons, and pour out into all those vessels, and set aside what is full.

הָאֵ֑לֶּה (אֵ֑לֶּה) 'E.leh “these”

And it came to pass when they entered into Samaria, that Elisha said, Jehovah, open the eyes of these [ergänzt: men] that they may see. And Jehovah opened their eyes, and they saw, and behold, they were in the midst of Samaria.

And those lepers came to the extremity of the camp; and they went into one tent, and ate and drank, and carried thence silver and gold, and garments, and went and hid it; and they came again, and entered into another tent, and carried thence, and went and hid [ergänzt: it].

And it came to pass in the morning that he went out; and he stood, and said to all the people, Ye are righteous! behold, I conspired against my master and killed him; but who smote all these?

אֵֽלֶּה׃ 'E.leh “these”

And these nations feared Jehovah, and served their graven images, both their children and their children's children: as did their fathers, so do they, unto this day.

הָאֵ֗לֶּה (אֵ֗לֶּה) 'E.leh “these”

And Rab-shakeh said to them, Is it to thy master and to thee that my master sent me to speak these words? Is it not to the men that sit on the wall, that they may eat their own dung and drink their own urine with you?

הָאֵ֑לֶּה (אֵ֑לֶּה) 'E.leh “these”

Then came the prophet Isaiah to king Hezekiah and said to him, What said these men? and from whence came they to thee? And Hezekiah said, They came from a far country, from Babylon.

הָאֵ֗לֶּה (אֵ֗לֶּה) 'E.leh “these”

Because Manasseh king of Judah hath done these abominations, and hath done wickedly above all that the Amorites did, who were before him, and hath made Judah also to sin with his idols;

הָאֵ֔לֶּה (אֵ֔לֶּה) 'E.leh “these”

And Josiah turned himself, and saw the sepulchres that were there on the mount; and he sent and took the bones out of the sepulchres, and burned [ergänzt: them] upon the altar, and defiled it, according to the word of Jehovah, that the man of God had proclaimed, who proclaimed these things.
