Arise, Jehovah; O God, lift up thy hand: forget not the afflicted.

Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous [ergänzt: sins]; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be perfect, and I shall be innocent from great transgression.

Be not far from me, for trouble is near; for there is none to help.

But thou, Jehovah, be not far [ergänzt: from me]; O my strength, haste thee to help me.

My God, I confide in thee; let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me.

Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions; according to thy loving-kindness remember thou me, for thy goodness' sake, Jehovah.

Keep my soul, and deliver me: let me not be ashamed; for I trust in thee.

Gather not my soul with sinners, nor my life with men of blood;

אַל־ 'al- “may not”

Hide not thy face from me; put not thy servant away in anger: thou hast been my help; cast me not off, neither forsake me, O God of my salvation.

Deliver me not over to the will of mine adversaries; for false witnesses are risen up against me, and such as breathe out violence.

Unto thee, Jehovah, do I call; my rock, be not silent unto me, lest, [ergänzt: if] thou keep silence toward me, I become like them that go down into the pit.

Draw me not away with the wicked, and with the workers of iniquity, who speak peace to their neighbours, and mischief is in their heart.

In thee, Jehovah, do I trust; let me never be ashamed: deliver me in thy righteousness.

Jehovah, let me not be ashamed; for I have called upon thee: let the wicked be ashamed, let them be silent in Sheol.

Be ye not as a horse, as a mule, which have no understanding: whose trappings must be bit and bridle, for restraint, or they will not come unto thee.

They looked unto him, and were enlightened, and their faces were not confounded.

Let not them that are wrongfully mine enemies rejoice over me; let them not wink with the eye that hate me without cause.

Thou hast seen [ergänzt: it], Jehovah: keep not silence; O Lord, be not far from me.

Judge me, Jehovah my God, according to thy righteousness, and let them not rejoice over me.

Let them not say in their heart, Aha! so would we have it. Let them not say, We have swallowed him up.

Let not the foot of pride come against me, and let not the hand of the wicked drive me away.

Fret not thyself because of evil-doers, and be not envious of them that work unrighteousness;

Rest in Jehovah, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him that prospereth in his way, because of the man that bringeth mischievous devices to pass.

Cease from anger, and forsake wrath; fret not thyself: it [ergänzt: would be] only to do evil.

Jehovah, rebuke me not in thy wrath; neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure.
