But no chastening at the time seems to be [ergänzt: matter] of joy, but of grief; but afterwards yields [ergänzt: the] peaceful fruit of righteousness to those exercised by it.

Obey your leaders, and be submissive; for *they* watch over your souls as those that shall give account; that they may do this with joy, and not groaning, for this [ergänzt: would be] unprofitable for you.

Count it all joy, my brethren, when ye fall into various temptations,
