The Son of man goes indeed, according as it is written concerning him, but woe to that man by whom the Son of man is delivered up; it were good for that man if he had not been born.

For this is my blood, that of the [ergänzt: new] covenant, that shed for many for remission of sins.

but about the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?

And John was clothed in camel's hair, and a leathern girdle about his loins, and ate locusts and wild honey.

And the mother-in-law of Simon lay in a fever. And straightway they speak to him about her.

περὶ peri “about”

and says to him, See thou say nothing to any one, but go, shew thyself to the priest, and offer for thy cleansing what Moses ordained, for a testimony to them.

and from Jerusalem, and from Idumaea and beyond the Jordan; and they of around Tyre and Sidon, a great multitude, having heard what things he did, came to him.

And a crowd sat around him. And they said to him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren seek thee without.

And looking around in a circuit at those that were sitting around him, he says, Behold my mother and my brethren:

And when he was alone, those about him with the twelve asked him [ergänzt: as to] the parables.

and the cares of life, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things, entering in, choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful.

And they that had seen [ergänzt: it] related to them how it had happened to the [ergänzt: man] possessed by demons, and concerning the swine.

having heard concerning Jesus, came in the crowd behind and touched his clothes;

And seeing them labouring in rowing, for the wind was contrary to them, about the fourth watch of the night he comes to them walking on the sea, and would have passed them by.

But he answering said to them, Well did Esaias prophesy concerning you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honour me with their lips, but their heart is far away from me.

And when he went indoors from the crowd, his disciples asked him concerning the parable.

But immediately a woman, whose little daughter had an unclean spirit, having heard of him, came and fell at his feet

And he charged them straitly, in order that they should tell no man about him.

And when he came to the disciples he saw a great crowd around them, and scribes disputing against them.

περὶ peri “around”

And whosoever shall be a snare to one of the little ones who believe [ergänzt: in me], it were better for him if a millstone were hung about his neck, and he cast into the sea.

And again in the house the disciples asked him concerning this.

And the ten having heard [ergänzt: of it], began to be indignant about James and John.

And they come and say to him, Teacher, we know that thou art true, and carest not for any one; for thou regardest not men's person, but teachest the way of God with truth: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar or not?

But concerning the dead that they rise, have ye not read in the book of Moses, in [ergänzt: the section of] the bush, how God spoke to him, saying, *I* [ergänzt: am] the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob?

But of that day or of that hour no one knows, neither the angels who are in heaven, nor the Son, but the Father.
