who is faithful to him that has constituted him, as Moses also in all his house.

And Moses indeed [ergänzt: was] faithful in all his house, as a ministering servant, for a testimony of the things to be spoken after;

but Christ, as Son over his house, whose house are *we*, if indeed we hold fast the boldness and the boast of hope firm to the end.

For finding fault, he says to them, Behold, days come, saith the Lord, and I will consummate a new covenant as regards the house of Israel, and as regards the house of Juda;

Because this [ergänzt: is] the covenant that I will covenant to the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord: Giving my laws into their mind, I will write them also upon their hearts; and I will be to them for God, and *they* shall be to me for people.

By faith, Noah, oracularly warned concerning things not yet seen, moved with fear, prepared an ark for the saving of his house; by which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which [ergänzt: is] according to faith.

For the time of having the judgment begin from the house of God [ergänzt: is come]; but if first from us, what [ergänzt: shall be] the end of those who obey not the glad tidings of God?
