G3568–νῦν–nun

For the Christ is not entered into holy places made with hand, figures of the true, but into heaven itself, now to appear before the face of God for us:

νῦν nun “now”

but now they seek a better, that is, a heavenly; wherefore God is not ashamed of them, to be called their God; for he has prepared for them a city.

whose voice then shook the earth; but now he has promised, saying, Yet once will *I* shake not only the earth, but also the heaven.

Go to now, ye who say, To-day or to-morrow will we go into such a city and spend a year there, and traffic and make gain,

But now ye glory in your vauntings: all such glorying is evil.

Go to now, ye rich, weep, howling over your miseries that [ergänzt: are] coming upon [ergänzt: you].

To whom it was revealed, that not to themselves but to you they ministered those things, which have now been announced to you by those who have declared to you the glad tidings by [ergänzt: the] Holy Spirit, sent from heaven, which angels desire to look into.

who once [ergänzt: were] not a people, but now God's people; who were not enjoying mercy, but now have found mercy.

For ye were going astray as sheep, but have now returned to the shepherd and overseer of your souls.

which figure also now saves you, [ergänzt: even] baptism, not a putting away of [ergänzt: the] filth of flesh, but [ergänzt: the] demand as before God of a good conscience, by [ergänzt: the] resurrection of Jesus Christ,

But the present heavens and the earth by his word are laid up in store, kept for fire unto a day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men.

but grow in grace, and in [ergänzt: the] knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him [ergänzt: be] glory both now and to [ergänzt: the] day of eternity. Amen.

Little children, it is [ergänzt: the] last hour, and, according as ye have heard that antichrist comes, even now there have come many antichrists, whence we know that it is [ergänzt: the] last hour.

And now, children, abide in him, that if he be manifested we may have boldness, and not be put to shame from before him at his coming.

Beloved, now are we children of God, and what we shall be has not yet been manifested; we know that if it is manifested we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is.

and every spirit which does not confess Jesus Christ come in flesh is not of God: and this is that [ergänzt: power] of the antichrist, [ergänzt: of] which ye have heard that it comes, and now it is already in the world.

And now I beseech thee, lady, not as writing to thee a new commandment, but that which we have had from [ergänzt: the] beginning, that we should love one another.

to the only God our Saviour, through Jesus Christ our Lord, [ergänzt: be] glory, majesty, might, and authority, from before the whole age, and now, and to all the ages. Amen.
