Lo, all that are incensed against thee shall be ashamed and confounded; they that strive with thee shall be as nothing, and shall perish.

For I, Jehovah, thy God, hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.

לְךָ֛ (ךָ֛) Kha “you”עֲזַרְתִּֽיךָ׃ (ךָ) kha “you”

I, Jehovah, have called thee in righteousness, and will take hold of thy hand; and I will preserve thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the nations,

קְרָאתִ֥יךָֽ (ךָֽ) cha “you”וְאֶצָּרְךָ֗ (ךָ֗) Kha “you”וְאֶתֶּנְךָ֛ (ךָ֛) Kha “you”

But now thus saith Jehovah, that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel: Fear not, for I have redeemed thee, I have called [supplied: thee] by thy name; thou art mine.

בֹּרַאֲךָ֣ (ךָ֣) Kha “you”וְיֹצֶרְךָ֖ (ךָ֖) Kha “you”גְאַלְתִּ֔יךָ (ךָ) kha “you”

When thou passest through the waters, I [supplied: will be] with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee; when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned, neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.

אִתְּךָ־ (ךָ) kha- “you”יִשְׁטְפ֑וּךָ (ךָ) kha “you”בָּֽךְ׃ (ךְ) kh “you”

For I [supplied: am] Jehovah thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour: I gave Egypt for thy ransom, Ethiopia and Seba for thee.

מוֹשִׁיעֶ֑ךָ (ךָ) kha “your”תַּחְתֶּֽיךָ׃ (ךָ) kha “you”

Since thou wast precious in my sight, thou hast been honourable, and I have loved thee; and I will give men for thee, and peoples for thy life.

אֲהַבְתִּ֑יךָ (ךָ) kha “you”תַּחְתֶּ֔יךָ (ךָ) kha “you”

Fear not, for I [supplied: am] with thee: I will bring thy seed from the east, and gather thee from the west;

אִתְּךָ־ (ךָ) kha- “you”אֲקַבְּצֶֽךָּ׃ (ךָּ) ka “you”

thou hast not brought me the small cattle of thy burnt-offerings, neither hast thou glorified me with thy sacrifices. I have not caused thee to toil with an oblation, nor wearied thee with incense.

הֶעֱבַדְתִּ֙יךָ֙ (ךָ֙) kha “you”הוֹגַעְתִּ֖יךָ (ךָ) kha “you”

Thy first father hath sinned, and thy mediators have rebelled against me.

וּמְלִיצֶ֖יךָ (ךָ) kha “your”

thus saith Jehovah, that made thee, and formed thee from the womb, who helpeth thee, Fear not, Jacob, my servant, and thou, Jeshurun, whom I have chosen.

עֹשֶׂ֛ךָ (ךָ) kha “you”וְיֹצֶרְךָ֥ (ךָ֥) Kha “you”יַעְזְרֶ֑ךָּ (ךָּ) ka “you”

Fear not, neither be afraid. Have I not caused thee to hear from that time, and have declared it? and ye are my witnesses. Is there a +God beside me? yea, there is no Rock: I know not any.

הִשְׁמַעְתִּ֥יךָ (ךָ) kha “you”

Remember these things, O Jacob, and Israel, for thou art my servant; I have formed thee: thou art my servant, Israel; thou shalt not be forgotten of me.

יְצַרְתִּ֤יךָ (ךָ) kha “you”

I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, thy transgressions, and, as a cloud, thy sins: return unto me; for I have redeemed thee.

גְאַלְתִּֽיךָ׃ (ךָ) kha “you”

Thus saith Jehovah, thy Redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb: I [supplied: am] Jehovah, the maker of all things; who alone stretched out the heavens, who did spread forth the earth by myself;

וְיֹצֶרְךָ֖ (ךָ֖) Kha “you”

and I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places; that thou mayest know that I, Jehovah, who call thee by name, [supplied: am] the God of Israel.

לְךָ֙ (ךָ֙) Kha “you”

For Jacob my servant's sake, and Israel mine elect, I have called thee by thy name; I surnamed thee, though thou didst not know me;

לְךָ֙ (ךָ֙) Kha “you”אֲכַנְּךָ֖ (ךָ֖) Kha “you”

I [supplied: am] Jehovah, and there is none else; there is no God beside me: I girded thee, and thou hast not known me;

אֲאַזֶּרְךָ֖ (ךָ֖) Kha “you”

so I have long ago declared [supplied: them] to thee; before they came to pass I caused thee to hear [supplied: them]; lest thou shouldest say, Mine idol hath done them, and my graven image, or my molten image hath commanded them.

לְךָ֙ (ךָ֙) Kha “you”הִשְׁמַעְתִּ֑יךָ (ךָ) kha “you”

Thou heardest, see all this; -- and ye, will not ye declare [supplied: it]? I have caused thee to hear new things from this time, and things hidden, and that thou knewest not:

הִשְׁמַעְתִּ֤יךָ (ךָ) kha “you”

For my name's sake I will defer mine anger, and [supplied: for] my praise will I refrain as to thee, that I cut thee not off.

הַכְרִיתֶֽךָ׃ (ךָ) kha “you”

Behold, I have refined thee, but not as silver; I have chosen thee in the furnace of affliction.

צְרַפְתִּ֖יךָ (ךָ) kha “you”בְּחַרְתִּ֖יךָ (ךָ) kha “you”

Thus saith Jehovah, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I [supplied: am] Jehovah thy God, who teacheth thee for [supplied: thy] profit, who leadeth thee in the way that thou shouldest go.

מְלַמֶּדְךָ֣ (ךָ֣) Kha “you”מַדְרִֽיכֲךָ֖ (ךָ֖) Kha “you”

And he said unto me, Thou art my servant, Israel, in whom I will glorify myself.

בְּךָ֖ (ךָ֖) Kha “you”

-- and he saith, It is a small thing that thou shouldest be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel; I have even given thee for a light of the nations, that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth.
