Let them be ashamed and abashed together that rejoice at my hurt; let them be clothed with shame and confusion that magnify themselves against me.

עָלָֽי׃ (י) i “me”

Let not the foot of pride overtake me, and let not the hand of the wicked drive me away.

תְּ֭בוֹאֵנִי (נִי) ni “me”תְּנִדֵֽנִי׃ (נִי) ni “me”

O LORD, rebuke me not in Thine anger; neither chasten me in Thy wrath.

תוֹכִיחֵ֑נִי (נִי) ni “me”תְיַסְּרֵֽנִי׃ (נִי) ni “me”

For Thine arrows are gone deep into me, and Thy hand is come down upon me.

בִ֑י (י) i “me”עָלַ֣י (י) i “me”

For mine iniquities are gone over my head; as a heavy burden they are too heavy for me.

מִמֶּֽנִּי׃ (נִּי) ni “me”

My heart fluttereth, my strength faileth me; as for the light of mine eyes, it also is gone from me.

עֲזָבַ֣נִי (נִי) ni “me”אִתִּֽי׃ (י) i “me”

My friends and my companions stand aloof from my plague; and my kinsmen stand afar off.

אֹֽהֲבַ֨י׀ (י) i “my”

For I said: 'Lest they rejoice over me; when my foot slippeth, they magnify themselves against me.'

לִ֑י (י) i “me”עָלַ֥י (י) i “me”

For I am ready to halt, and my pain is continually before me.

נֶגְדִּ֣י (י) i “me”

But mine enemies are strong in health; and they that hate me wrongfully are multiplied.

שֹׂנְאַ֣י (י) i “me”

They also that repay evil for good are adversaries unto me, because I follow the thing that is good.

יִ֝שְׂטְנ֗וּנִי (נִי) ni “me”

Forsake me not, O LORD; O my God, be not far from me.

תַּֽעַזְבֵ֥נִי (נִי) ni “me”מִמֶּֽנִּי׃ (נִּי) ni “me”

I said: 'I will take heed to my ways, that I sin not with my tongue; I will keep a curb upon my mouth, while the wicked is before me.'

לְנֶגְדִּֽי׃ (י) i “me”

'LORD, make me to know mine end, and the measure of my days, what it is; let me know how short-lived I am.

הוֹדִ֘יעֵ֤נִי (נִי) ni “me”

Deliver me from all my transgressions; make me not the reproach of the base.

הַצִּילֵ֑נִי (נִי) ni “me”תְּשִׂימֵֽנִי׃ (נִי) ni “me”

Remove Thy stroke from off me; I am consumed by the blow of Thy hand.

מֵעָלַ֣י (י) i “me”

Look away from me, that I may take comfort, before I go hence, and be no more.'

מִמֶּ֣נִּי (נִּי) ni “me”

I waited patiently for the LORD; and He inclined unto me, and heard my cry.

אֵ֝לַ֗י (י) i “me”

He brought me up also out of the tumultuous pit, out of the miry clay; and He set my feet upon a rock, He established my goings.

וַיַּעֲלֵ֤נִי׀ (נִי) ni “me”

Sacrifice and meal-offering Thou hast no delight in; mine ears hast Thou opened; burnt-offering and sin-offering hast Thou not required.

לִּ֑י (י) i “me”

Then said I: 'Lo, I am come with the roll of a book which is prescribed for me;

עָלָֽי׃ (י) i “me”

Thou, O LORD, wilt not withhold Thy compassions from me; let Thy mercy and Thy truth continually preserve me.

מִמֶּ֑נִּי (נִּי) ni “me”יִצְּרֽוּנִי׃ (נִי) ni “me”

For innumerable evils have compassed me about, mine iniquities have overtaken me, so that I am not able to look up; they are more than the hairs of my head, and my heart hath failed me.

עָלַ֨י׀ (י) i “me”הִשִּׂיג֣וּנִי (נִי) ni “me”עֲזָבָֽנִי׃ (נִי) ni “me”

Be pleased, O LORD, to deliver me; O LORD, make haste to help me.

לְהַצִּילֵ֑נִי (נִי) ni “me”

Let them be appalled by reason of their shame that say unto me: 'Aha, aha.'
