And these are the sons of Levi by their names: Gershon, and Kohath, and Merari.

בִּשְׁמֹתָ֑ם (ם) m “their”

And these are the names of the sons of Gershon according to their families: Libni and Shimei.

לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָ֑ם (ם) m “their”

And the sons of Kohath according to their families: Amram and Izhar, Hebron and Uzziel.

לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָ֑ם (ם) m “their”

And the sons of Merari according to their families: Mahli and Mushi. These are the families of the Levites according to their fathers' houses.

לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָ֖ם (ם) m “their”אֲבֹתָֽם׃ (ם) m “their”

Those that were numbered of them, according to the number of all the males, from a month old and upward, those that were numbered of them were seven thousand five hundred.

פְּקֻדֵיהֶם֙ (הֶם֙) Hem “their”פְּקֻ֣דֵיהֶ֔ם (הֶ֔ם) Hem “their”

And their charge was the ark, and the table, and the candlestick, and the altars, and the utensils of the sanctuary with which they ministered, and the curtain, and all that belongs to its service.

וּמִשְׁמַרְתָּ֗ם (ם) m “their”

And those that were numbered of them, according to the number of all the males, from a month old and upward, were six thousand two hundred.

וּפְקֻדֵיהֶם֙ (הֶם֙) Hem “their”

and the pillars of the court round about, and their bases, and their pegs, and their cords.

וְאַדְנֵיהֶ֑ם (הֶ֑ם) Hem “their”וִיתֵדֹתָ֖ם (ם) m “their”וּמֵֽיתְרֵיהֶֽם׃ (הֶֽם) Hem “their”

All that were numbered of the Levites, whom Moses and Aaron numbered at the commandment of Jehovah, according to their families, all the males from a month old and upward, were twenty-two thousand.

לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָ֑ם (ם) m “their”

And Jehovah said to Moses, Number all the first-born males of the children of Israel from a month old and upward, and take the number of their names.

שְׁמֹתָֽם׃ (ם) m “their”

And all the firstborn males, by the number of the names, from a month old and upward, according to their numbering, were twenty-two thousand two hundred and seventy-three.

לִפְקֻדֵיהֶ֑ם (הֶ֑ם) Hem “their”

Take the Levites instead of all the firstborn among the children of Israel, and the cattle of the Levites instead of their cattle; and the Levites shall be mine: I am Jehovah.

בְּהֶמְתָּ֑ם (ם) m “their”

Take the sum of the sons of Kohath from among the sons of Levi, after their families, according to their fathers' houses,

לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָ֖ם (ם) m “their”אֲבֹתָֽם׃ (ם) m “their”

Take also the sum of the sons of Gershon, according to their fathers' houses, after their families.

אֲבֹתָ֖ם (ם) m “their”לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָֽם׃ (ם) m “their”

and the hangings of the court, and the curtain of the entrance, of the gate of the court, which surroundeth the tabernacle and the altar, and the cords thereof, and all the instruments of their service; and all that is to be done for these things shall they perform.

מֵֽיתְרֵיהֶ֔ם (הֶ֔ם) Hem “their”עֲבֹדָתָ֑ם (ם) m “their”

At the commandment of Aaron and his sons shall be all the service of the sons of the Gershonites, in all their carrying, and in all their service; and ye shall appoint unto them in charge all their carrying.

מַשָּׂאָ֔ם (ם) m “their”עֲבֹדָתָ֑ם (ם) m “their”מַשָּׂאָֽם׃ (ם) m “their”

This is the service of the families of the sons of Gershon in the tent of meeting, and their charge shall be under the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest.

וּמִ֨שְׁמַרְתָּ֔ם (ם) m “their”

The sons of Merari: after their families, according to their fathers' houses shalt thou number them;

לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָ֥ם (ם) m “their”אֲבֹתָ֖ם (ם) m “their”

And this shall be the charge of their burden, according to all their service in the tent of meeting: the boards of the tabernacle, and the bars thereof, and the pillars thereof, and bases thereof,

מַשָּׂאָ֔ם (ם) m “their”עֲבֹדָתָ֖ם (ם) m “their”

and the pillars of the court round about, and their bases, and their pegs, and their cords, all their instruments, according to all their service; and by name ye shall number to them the materials which are their charge to carry.

וְאַדְנֵיהֶ֗ם (הֶ֗ם) Hem “their”וִֽיתֵדֹתָם֙ (ם֙) m “their”וּמֵ֣יתְרֵיהֶ֔ם (הֶ֔ם) Hem “their”כְּלֵיהֶ֔ם (הֶ֔ם) Hem “their”עֲבֹדָתָ֑ם (ם) m “their”מַשָּׂאָֽם׃ (ם) m “their”

This is the service of the families of the sons of Merari, according to all their service in the tent of meeting, under the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest.

עֲבֹדָתָ֖ם (ם) m “their”

And Moses and Aaron and the princes of the assembly numbered the sons of the Kohathites after their families, and according to their fathers' houses,

לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָ֖ם (ם) m “their”אֲבֹתָֽם׃ (ם) m “their”

And those that were numbered of them according to their families were two thousand seven hundred and fifty.

פְקֻדֵיהֶ֖ם (הֶ֖ם) Hem “their”לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָ֑ם (ם) m “their”

And those that were numbered of the sons of Gershon, after their families, and according to their fathers' houses,

לְמִשְׁפְּחוֹתָ֖ם (ם) m “their”אֲבֹתָֽם׃ (ם) m “their”

even those that were numbered of them, after their families, according to their fathers' houses, were two thousand six hundred and thirty.
