And Eliphaz the Temanite answered and said,

הַֽתֵּמָנִ֗י (הַֽ) ha. “the”

But the powerful man, he had the land; and the man of high rank dwelt in it.

הָאָ֑רֶץ (הָ) ha. “the”

Who said unto God, Depart from us! and what could the Almighty do to them?

הָאֹמְרִ֣ים (הָ) ha. “who”

Even to-day is my complaint bitter: my stroke is heavier than my groaning.

הַ֭יּוֹם (הַ֭) Hai. “this”

And Bildad the Shuhite answered and said,

הַשֻּׁחִ֗י (הַ) ha. “the”

The shades tremble beneath the waters and the inhabitants thereof;

הָרְפָאִ֥ים (הָ) ha. “the”

He stirreth up the sea by his power, and by his understanding he smiteth through Rahab.

הַיָּ֑ם (הַ) hai. “the”

He openeth a shaft far from the inhabitants [supplied: of the earth]: forgotten of the foot, they hang suspended; away below men they hover.

הַֽנִּשְׁכָּחִ֥ים (הַֽ) ha. “<the>”

But wisdom, where shall it be found? and where is the place of understanding?

וְֽ֭הַחָכְמָה (הַ) ha. “<the>”

Man knoweth not the value thereof; and it is not found in the land of the living.

הַֽחַיִּֽים׃ (הַֽ) Ha. “the”

Whence then cometh wisdom? and where is the place of understanding?

וְֽ֭הַחָכְמָה (הַ) ha. “<the>”

For it is hidden from the eyes of all living, and concealed from the fowl of the heavens.

הַשָּׁמַ֣יִם (הַ) ha. “the”

For he looketh to the ends of the earth, he seeth under the whole heaven.

הָאָ֣רֶץ (הָ) ha. “the”הַשָּׁמַ֣יִם (הַ) ha. “the”

Withered up through want and hunger, they flee into waste places long since desolate and desert:

הַֽעֹרְקִ֥ים (הַֽ) ha. “the”

They gather the salt-wort among the bushes, and the roots of the broom for their food.

הַקֹּטְפִ֣ים (הַ) ha. “those”

Sons of fools, and sons of nameless sires, they are driven out of the land.

הָאָֽרֶץ׃ (הָ) ha. “the”

If my step have turned out of the way, and my heart followed mine eyes, and if any blot cleaveth to my hands;

הַ֫דָּ֥רֶךְ (הַ֫) ha. “the”

And these three men ceased to answer Job, because he was righteous in his own eyes.

הָאֲנָשִׁ֣ים (הָ) ha. “the”הָ֭אֵלֶּה (הָ֭) Ha. “<the>”

Then was kindled the anger of Elihu the son of Barachel, the Buzite, of the family of Ram: against Job was his anger kindled, because he justified himself rather than God;

הַבּוּזִי֮ (הַ) ha. “the”

And Elihu saw that there was no answer in the mouth of the three men, and his anger was kindled.

הָאֲנָשִׁ֗ים (הָ) ha. “the”

And Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite answered and said, I am young, and ye are aged; wherefore I was timid, and feared to shew you what I know.

הַבּוּזִ֗י (הַ) ha. “the”

To bring back his soul from the pit, that he may be enlightened with the light of the living.

הַֽחַיִּים׃ (הַֽ) Ha. “<the>”

Who teacheth us more than the beasts of the earth, and maketh us wiser than the fowl of the heavens?

הַשָּׁמַ֣יִם (הַ) ha. “the”

Desire not the night, when peoples are cut off from their place.

הַלָּ֑יְלָה (הַ) ha. “the”

Lo, he spreadeth his light around him, and covereth the bottom of the sea.
