For Jehovah is a great God, and a great king above all gods.

וּמֶ֥לֶךְ (וּ) u. “and”

In his hand are the deep places of the earth; the heights of the mountains are his also:

וְתוֹעֲפ֖וֹת (וְ) ve. “and”

The sea is his, and he made it, and his hands formed the dry [supplied: land].

וְה֣וּא (וְ) ve. “and”וְ֝יַבֶּ֗שֶׁת (וְ֝) ve. “and”

Come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before Jehovah our Maker.

וְנִכְרָ֑עָה (וְ) ve. “and”

For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture and the sheep of his hand. To-day if ye hear his voice,

וַאֲנַ֤חְנוּ (וַ) va. “and”וְצֹ֣אן (וְ) ve. “and”

Forty years was I grieved with the generation, and said, It is a people that do err in their heart, and they have not known my ways;

וְ֝הֵ֗ם (וְ֝) ve. “and”

For Jehovah is great and exceedingly to be praised; he is terrible above all gods.

וּמְהֻלָּ֣ל (וּ) u. “and”

For all the gods of the peoples are idols; but Jehovah made the heavens.

וַֽ֝יהוָ֗ה (וַֽ֝) va. “and”

Majesty and splendour are before him; strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.

וְהָדָ֥ר (וְ) ve. “and”וְ֝תִפְאֶ֗רֶת (וְ֝) ve. “and”

Give unto Jehovah, ye families of peoples, give unto Jehovah glory and strength;

וָעֹֽז׃ (וָ) va. “and”

Give unto Jehovah the glory of his name; bring an oblation and come into his courts;

וּבֹ֥אוּ (וּ) u. “and”

Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof;

וְתָגֵ֣ל (וְ) ve. “and”וּמְלֹאֽוֹ׃ (וּ) u. “and”

Let the field exult and all that is therein. Then shall all the trees of the forest sing for joy,

וְכָל־ (וְ) ve. “and”

Before Jehovah, for he cometh; for he cometh to judge the earth: he will judge the world with righteousness, and the peoples in his faithfulness.

וְ֝עַמִּ֗ים (וְ֝) ve. “and”

Clouds and darkness are round about him; righteousness and judgment are the foundation of his throne.

וַעֲרָפֶ֣ל (וַ) va. “and”וּ֝מִשְׁפָּ֗ט (וּ֝) u. “and”

A fire goeth before him, and burneth up his adversaries round about.

וּתְלַהֵ֖ט (וּ) u. “and”

Light is sown for the righteous, and joy for the upright in heart.

וּֽלְיִשְׁרֵי־ (וּֽ) u. “and”

Rejoice in Jehovah, ye righteous; and give thanks in remembrance of his holiness.

וְ֝הוֹד֗וּ (וְ֝) ve. “and”

Sing ye unto Jehovah a new song: for he hath done wondrous things; his right hand and his holy arm hath wrought salvation for him.

וּזְר֥וֹעַ (וּ) u. “and”

He hath remembered his loving-kindness and his faithfulness toward the house of Israel: all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.

וֶֽאֱֽמוּנָתוֹ֮ (וֶֽ) ve. “and”

Shout aloud unto Jehovah, all the earth; break forth and shout for joy, and sing psalms.

וְרַנְּנ֣וּ (וְ) ve. “and”וְזַמֵּֽרוּ׃ (וְ) ve. “and”

Sing psalms unto Jehovah with the harp: with the harp, and the voice of a song;

וְק֣וֹל (וְ) ve. “and”

With trumpets and sound of cornet, make a joyful noise before the King, Jehovah.

וְק֣וֹל (וְ) ve. “and”

Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein;

וּמְלֹא֑וֹ (וּ) u. “and”וְיֹ֣שְׁבֵי (וְ) ve. “and”

Before Jehovah, for he cometh to judge the earth: he will judge the world with righteousness, and the peoples with equity.

וְ֝עַמִּ֗ים (וְ֝) ve. “and”
