All the families of the Shuhamites, according to those that were numbered of them, were sixty-four thousand four hundred.

וְשִׁשִּׁ֛ים (וְ) ve. “and”וְאַרְבַּ֥ע (וְ) ve. “and”

And the name of the daughter of Asher was Serah.

וְשֵׁ֥ם (וְ) ve. “and”

These are the families of the sons of Asher according to those that were numbered of them, fifty-three thousand four hundred.

וַחֲמִשִּׁ֛ים (וַ) va. “and”וְאַרְבַּ֥ע (וְ) ve. “and”

These are the families of Naphtali, according to their families; and they that were numbered of them were forty-five thousand four hundred.

וּפְקֻ֣דֵיהֶ֔ם (וּ) u. “and”וְאַרְבָּעִ֛ים (וְ) ve. “and”וְאַרְבַּ֥ע (וְ) ve. “and”

These were the numbered of the children of Israel, six hundred and one thousand seven hundred and thirty.

וָאָ֑לֶף (וָ) va. “and”וּשְׁלֹשִֽׁים׃ (וּ) u. “and”

to the many thou shalt increase their inheritance, and to the few thou shalt diminish their inheritance; to every one shall his inheritance be given according to those that were numbered of him.

וְלַמְעַ֕ט (וְ) ve. “and”

And these are the numbered of the Levites, after their families: of Gershon, the family of the Gershonites; of Kohath, the family of the Kohathites; of Merari, the family of the Merarites.

וְאֵ֨לֶּה (וְ) ve. “and”

These are the families of the Levites: the family of the Libnites, the family of the Hebronites, the family of the Mahlites, the family of the Mushites, the family of the Korahites. -- And Kohath begot Amram.

וּקְהָ֖ת (וּ) u. “and”

And the name of Amram's wife was Jochebed, the daughter of Levi, who was born to Levi in Egypt; and she bore to Amram Aaron and Moses, and Miriam their sister.

וְשֵׁ֣ם׀ (וְ) ve. “and”וְאֶת־ (וְ) ve. “and”וְאֵ֖ת (וְ) ve. “and”

And to Aaron were born Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.

וְאֶת־ (וְ) ve. “and”וְאֶת־ (וְ) ve. “and”

And Nadab and Abihu died, when they presented strange fire before Jehovah.

וַאֲבִיה֑וּא (וַ) va. “and”

And those that were numbered of the [supplied: Levites] were twenty-three thousand, all males from a month old and upward; for they were not numbered among the children of Israel, because there was no inheritance given them among the children of Israel.

וְעֶשְׂרִים֙ (וְ) ve. “and”וָמָ֑עְלָה (וָ) va. “and”

These are they that were numbered by Moses and Eleazar the priest, who numbered the children of Israel in the plains of Moab, by the Jordan of Jericho.

וְאֶלְעָזָ֖ר (וְ) ve. “and”

But among these there was not a man numbered by Moses and Aaron the priest, who numbered the children of Israel in the wilderness of Sinai.

וּבְאֵ֙לֶּה֙ (וּ) u. “and”וְאַהֲרֹ֖ן (וְ) ve. “and”

For Jehovah had said of them, They shall surely die in the wilderness. And there was not left a man of them, save Caleb the son of Jephunneh, and Joshua the son of Nun.

וְלֹא־ (וְ) ve. “and”וִיהוֹשֻׁ֖עַ (וִ) vi. “and”

Then drew near the daughters of Zelophehad, the son of Hepher, the son of Gilead, the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh, of the families of Manasseh the son of Joseph; and these were the names of his daughters: Mahlah, Noah, and Hoglah, and Milcah, and Tirzah.

וְאֵ֙לֶּה֙ (וְ) ve. “and”וְחָגְלָ֥ה (וְ) ve. “and”וּמִלְכָּ֖ה (וּ) u. “and”וְתִרְצָֽה׃ (וְ) ve. “and”

And they stood before Moses, and before Eleazar the priest, and before the princes and the whole assembly, at the entrance of the tent of meeting, saying,

וְלִפְנֵי֙ (וְ) ve. “and”וְלִפְנֵ֥י (וְ) ve. “and”וְכָל־ (וְ) ve. “and”

Our father died in the wilderness, and he was not in the band of them that banded themselves together against Jehovah in the band of Korah; but he died in his own sin, and he had no sons.

וְה֨וּא (וְ) ve. “and”וּבָנִ֖ים (וּ) u. “and”

And unto the children of Israel shalt thou speak, saying, If a man die, and have no son, then ye shall cause his inheritance to pass unto his daughter.

וְאֶל־ (וְ) ve. “and”וּבֵן֙ (וּ) u. “and”

And if he have no daughter, ye shall give his inheritance unto his brethren.

וְאִם־ (וְ) ve. “and”

And if he have no brethren, ye shall give his inheritance unto his father's brethren.

וְאִם־ (וְ) ve. “and”

And if his father have no brethren, ye shall give his inheritance to his kinsman that is nearest to him in his family, and he shall possess it; and it shall be unto the children of Israel a statute of right, as Jehovah commanded Moses.

וְאִם־ (וְ) ve. “and”

And Jehovah said to Moses, Get thee up into this mount Abarim, and see the land that I have given unto the children of Israel.

וּרְאֵה֙ (וּ) u. “and”

who may go out before them, and who may come in before them, and who may lead them out, and who may bring them in, that the assembly of Jehovah be not as sheep that have no shepherd.

וַאֲשֶׁ֤ר (וַ) va. “and”וַאֲשֶׁ֥ר (וַ) va. “and”וַאֲשֶׁ֣ר (וַ) va. “and”וְלֹ֤א (וְ) ve. “and”

and thou shalt set him before Eleazar the priest, and before the whole assembly; and give him commandment before their eyes.
