But your little ones, of whom ye said they should be a prey, them will I bring in, and they shall know the land that ye have despised.

וְטַ֨פְּכֶ֔ם (וְ) ve. “and”

And as to you, your carcases shall fall in this wilderness.

וּפִגְרֵיכֶ֖ם (וּ) u. “and”

And your children shall wander in the wilderness forty years, and bear your whoredoms, until your carcases be wasted in the wilderness.

וּ֠בְנֵיכֶם (וּ֠) U. “and”

I Jehovah have spoken; I will surely do it unto all this evil assembly which have gathered together against me! in this wilderness they shall be consumed, and there they shall die.

וְשָׁ֥ם (וְ) ve. “and”

And the men whom Moses had sent to search out the land, who returned, and made the whole assembly to murmur against him, by bringing up an evil report upon the land,

וְהָ֣אֲנָשִׁ֔ים (וְ) ve. “and”

But Joshua the son of Nun, and Caleb the son of Jephunneh, lived still of the men that had gone to search out the land.

וִיהוֹשֻׁ֣עַ (וִ) vi. “and”וְכָלֵ֖ב (וְ) ve. “and”

And Moses said, Why now do ye transgress the commandment of Jehovah? but it shall not prosper!

וְהִ֖וא (וְ) ve. “and”

Go not up, for Jehovah is not among you; that ye be not smitten before your enemies;

וְלֹא֙ (וְ) ve. “and”

for the Amalekites and the Canaanites are there before you, and ye shall fall by the sword; for as ye have turned away from Jehovah, Jehovah will not be with you.

וְהַכְּנַעֲנִ֥י (וְ) ve. “and”וְלֹא־ (וְ) ve. “and”

Yet they presumed to go up to the hill-top; but the ark of the covenant of Jehovah, and Moses, did not depart from the midst of the camp.

וַאֲר֤וֹן (וַ) va. “and”וּמֹשֶׁ֔ה (וּ) u. “and”

And the Amalekites and the Canaanites who dwelt on that hill, came down and smote them, and cut them to pieces, as far as Hormah.

וְהַֽכְּנַעֲנִ֔י (וְ) ve. “and”

and of wine for a drink-offering shalt thou offer the fourth part of a hin with the burnt-offering, or with the sacrifice, for one lamb.

וְיַ֤יִן (וְ) ve. “and”

and of wine for a drink-offering shalt thou offer the third part of a hin; for a sweet odour to Jehovah.

וְיַ֥יִן (וְ) ve. “and”

And when thou offerest a bullock for a burnt-offering, or a sacrifice for the performance of a vow, or for a peace-offering to Jehovah,

וְכִֽי־ (וְ) ve. “and”

and of wine shalt thou present half a hin, for a drink-offering, as an offering by fire, of a sweet odour to Jehovah.

וְיַ֛יִן (וְ) ve. “and”

And if a stranger sojourn with you, or whoever be among you throughout your generations, and will offer an offering by fire of a sweet odour to Jehovah, -- as ye do, so shall he do.

וְכִֽי־ (וְ) ve. “and”

As to the congregation, there shall be one statute for you, and for the stranger that sojourneth with you, an everlasting statute throughout your generations: as ye are, so shall the stranger be, before Jehovah.

וְלַגֵּ֣ר (וְ) ve. “and”

One law and one ordinance shall be for you, and for the stranger that sojourneth with you.

וּמִשְׁפָּ֥ט (וּ) u. “and”וְלַגֵּ֖ר (וְ) ve. “and”

And if ye sin inadvertently, and do not all these commandments, which Jehovah hath spoken unto Moses,

וְכִ֣י (וְ) ve. “and”וְלֹ֣א (וְ) ve. “and”

all that Jehovah hath commanded you through Moses, from the day that Jehovah gave commandment, and henceforward throughout your generations;

וָהָ֖לְאָה (וָ) va. “and”

then it shall be, if ought be committed by inadvertence [supplied: hid] from the eyes of the assembly, that the whole assembly shall offer one young bullock for a burnt-offering, for a sweet odour to Jehovah, and its oblation and its drink-offering according to the ordinance, and one buck of the goats for a sin-offering.

וּמִנְחָת֥וֹ (וּ) u. “and”וְנִסְכּ֖וֹ (וְ) ve. “and”וּשְׂעִיר־ (וּ) u. “and”

And the priest shall make atonement for the whole assembly of the children of Israel, and it shall be forgiven them; for it was a sin of inadvertence, and they have brought before Jehovah their offering, as an offering by fire to Jehovah, and their sin-offering for their [supplied: sin of] inadvertence;

וְהֵם֩ (וְ) ve. “and”וְחַטָּאתָ֛ם (וְ) ve. “and”

and it shall be forgiven the whole assembly of the children of Israel, and the stranger that sojourneth among them; for with all the people there was [supplied: a sin of] inadvertence.

וְלַגֵּ֖ר (וְ) ve. “and”

And if one soul sin through inadvertence, then he shall present a yearling she-goat for a sin-offering.

וְאִם־ (וְ) ve. “and”

For him that is born in the land among the children of Israel, and for the stranger that sojourneth among them -- there shall be one law for you, for him who doeth anything through inadvertence.
