And mine anger shall be accomplished, and I will satisfy my fury upon them, and I will comfort myself; and they shall know that I Jehovah have spoken in my jealousy, when I have accomplished my fury upon them.

וְכָלָ֣ה (וְ) ve. “and”וַהֲנִחוֹתִ֧י (וַ) va. “and”וְהִנֶּחָ֑מְתִּי (וְ) ve. “and”וְֽיָדְע֞וּ (וְֽ) ve. “and”

And it shall be a reproach, and a taunt, an instruction, and an astonishment unto the nations that are round about thee, when I shall execute judgments upon thee in anger, and in fury, and in furious rebukes: I, Jehovah, have spoken.

וְֽהָ֨יְתָ֜ה (וְֽ) ve. “and”

When I send upon them the evil arrows of famine, that are for [supplied: their] destruction, which I send to destroy you, then will I increase the famine upon you, and will break your staff of bread.

וְשָׁבַרְתִּ֥י (וְ) ve. “and”

And I will send upon you famine and evil beasts, which shall bereave thee of children; and pestilence and blood shall pass through thee; and I will bring the sword upon thee: I, Jehovah, have spoken.

וְשִׁלַּחְתִּ֣י (וְ) ve. “and”וְשִׁכְּלֻ֔ךְ (וְ) ve. “and”

And the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,

וַיְהִ֥י (וַ) va “and”

and say, Mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord Jehovah: thus saith the Lord Jehovah to the mountains and to the hills, to the water-courses and to the valleys: Behold, I, [supplied: even] I, do bring a sword upon you, and will destroy your high places.

וְאָ֣מַרְתָּ֔ (וְ) ve. “and”וְאִבַּדְתִּ֖י (וְ) ve. “and”

And your altars shall be desolate, and your sun-images shall be broken; and I will cast down your slain [supplied: men] before your idols;

וְנָשַׁ֙מּוּ֙ (וְ) ve. “and”וְנִשְׁבְּר֖וּ (וְ) ve. “and”וְהִפַּלְתִּי֙ (וְ) ve. “and”

and I will lay the dead bodies of the children of Israel before their idols; and I will scatter your bones round about your altars.

וְנָתַתִּ֗י (וְ) ve. “and”וְזֵרִיתִי֙ (וְ) ve. “and”

In all your dwelling-places the cities shall be laid waste, and the high places shall be desolate; that your altars may be laid waste and made desolate, and your idols may be broken and cease, and your sun-images may be cut down, and your works may be abolished.

וְנִשְׁבְּר֤וּ (וְ) ve. “and”וְנִשְׁבְּתוּ֙ (וְ) ve. “and”וְנִגְדְּעוּ֙ (וְ) ve. “and”וְנִמְח֖וּ (וְ) ve. “and”

And the slain shall fall in the midst of you, and ye shall know that I [supplied: am] Jehovah.

וְנָפַ֥ל (וְ) ve. “and”וִֽידַעְתֶּ֖ם (וִֽ) vi. “and”

Yet will I leave a remnant, in that ye shall have some escaped from the sword among the nations, when ye shall be scattered through the countries.

וְהוֹתַרְתִּ֗י (וְ) ve. “and”

And they that escape of you shall remember me among the nations whither they have been carried captives, when I shall have broken their whorish heart, which hath departed from me, and their eyes, which go a whoring after their idols; and they shall loathe themselves for the evils which they have committed, in all their abominations.

וְזָכְר֨וּ (וְ) ve. “and”וְנָקֹ֙טּוּ֙ (וְ) ve. “and”

And they shall know that I [supplied: am] Jehovah: I have not said in vain that I would do this evil unto them.

וְיָדְע֖וּ (וְ) ve. “and”

He that is far off shall die of the pestilence; and he that is near shall fall by the sword; and he that is left, and is besieged, shall die by the famine: and I will accomplish my fury upon them.

וְכִלֵּיתִ֥י (וְ) ve. “and”

And ye shall know that I [supplied: am] Jehovah, when their slain shall be among their idols, round about their altars, upon every high hill, on all the tops of the mountains, and under every green tree, and under every thick terebinth, the places where they offered sweet savour to all their idols.

וִֽידַעְתֶּם֙ (וִֽ) vi. “and”

And I will stretch out my hand upon them, and make the land desolate, yea, more desolate than the wilderness of Diblath, in all their dwellings; and they shall know that I [supplied: am] Jehovah.

וְנָטִ֤יתִי (וְ) ve. “and”וְנָתַתִּ֨י (וְ) ve. “and”וְיָדְע֖וּ (וְ) ve. “and”

And the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,

וַיְהִ֥י (וַ) va “and”

Now is the end upon thee; and I will send mine anger upon thee, and will judge thee according to thy ways, and will bring upon thee all thine abominations.

וְשִׁלַּחְתִּ֤י (וְ) ve. “and”וּשְׁפַטְתִּ֖יךְ (וּ) u. “and”וְנָתַתִּ֣י (וְ) ve. “and”

And mine eye shall not spare thee, neither will I have pity; but I will bring thy ways upon thee, and thine abominations shall be in the midst of thee; and ye shall know that I [supplied: am] Jehovah.

וִידַעְתֶּ֖ם (וִ) vi. “and”

Now will I soon pour out my fury upon thee, and accomplish mine anger against thee; and I will judge thee according to thy ways, and will bring upon thee all thine abominations.

וְכִלֵּיתִ֤י (וְ) ve. “and”וּשְׁפַטְתִּ֖יךְ (וּ) u. “and”וְנָתַתִּ֣י (וְ) ve. “and”

And mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity: I will render unto thee according to thy ways, and thine abominations shall be in the midst of thee; and ye shall know that it is I, Jehovah, that smite.

וִֽידַעְתֶּ֕ם (וִֽ) vi. “and”

And they that escape of them shall escape, and shall be on the mountains like doves of the valleys, all of them moaning, every one for his iniquity.

וּפָֽלְטוּ֙ (וּ) u. “and”וְהָי֣וּ (וְ) ve. “and”

And they shall gird on sackcloth, and horror shall cover them; and shame shall be upon all faces, and baldness upon all their heads.

וְחָגְר֣וּ (וְ) ve. “and”וְכִסְּתָ֥ה (וְ) ve. “and”

And I will give it into the hands of strangers for a prey, and to the wicked of the earth for a spoil; and they shall profane it.

וּנְתַתִּ֤יו (וּ) u. “and”וְחִלְּלֽוּהוּ׃ (וְ) ve. “and”

And I will turn my face from them; and they shall profane my secret [supplied: place]; and the violent shall enter into it, and profane it.

וַהֲסִבּוֹתִ֤י (וַ) va. “and”וְחִלְּל֖וּ (וְ) ve. “and”וּבָאוּ־ (וּ) u. “and”וְחִלְּלֽוּהָ׃ (וְ) ve. “and”
