Do you thus requite Yahweh, Foolish people and unwise? Isn't he your father who has bought you? He has made you, and established you.

וַֽיְכֹנְנֶֽךָ׃ (וַֽ) Va “and”

He made him ride on the high places of the earth, He ate the increase of the field; He made him to suck honey out of the rock, Oil out of the flinty rock;

וַיֹּאכַ֖ל (וַ) va “and”וַיֵּנִקֵ֤הֽוּ (וַ) va “and”

But Jeshurun grew fat, and kicked: You have grown fat, you are grown thick, you are become sleek; Then he forsook God who made him, Lightly esteemed the Rock of his salvation.

וַיִּשְׁמַ֤ן (וַ) va “and”וַיִּבְעָ֔ט (וַ) va “and”וַיִּטֹּשׁ֙ (וַ) va “and”וַיְנַבֵּ֖ל (וַ) va “and”

Of the Rock that became your father, you are unmindful, Have forgotten God who gave you birth.

וַתִּשְׁכַּ֖ח (וַ) va. “and”

Yahweh saw [supplied: it], and abhorred [supplied: them], Because of the provocation of his sons and his daughters.

וַיַּ֥רְא (וַ) va “and”וַיִּנְאָ֑ץ (וַ) va “and”

He said, I will hide my face from them, I will see what their end shall be: For they are a very perverse generation, Children in whom is no faithfulness.

וַיֹּ֗אמֶר (וַ) va “and”

For a fire is kindled in my anger, Burns to the lowest Sheol, Devours the earth with its increase, Sets on fire the foundations of the mountains.

וַתִּיקַ֖ד (וַ) va. “and”וַתֹּ֤אכַל (וַ) va. “and”וַתְּלַהֵ֖ט (וַ) va. “and”

Vengeance is mine, and recompense, At the time when their foot shall slide: For the day of their calamity is at hand, The things that are to come on them shall make haste.

וְחָ֖שׁ (וְ) ve. “and”

He will say, Where are their gods, The rock in which they took refuge;

וְאָמַ֖ר (וְ) ve. “and”

For I lift up my hand to heaven, And say, As I live forever,

וְאָמַ֕רְתִּי (וְ) ve. “and”

Rejoice, you nations, [supplied: with] his people: For he will avenge the blood of his servants, Will render vengeance to his adversaries, Will make expiation for his land, for his people.

וְכִפֶּ֥ר (וְ) ve. “and”

Moses came and spoke all the words of this song in the ears of the people, he and Joshua the son of Nun.

וַיָּבֹ֣א (וַ) va “and”וַיְדַבֵּ֛ר (וַ) va “and”

Moses made an end of speaking all these words to all Israel;

וַיְכַ֣ל (וַ) va “and”

He said to them, Set your heart to all the words which I testify to you this day, which you shall command your children to observe to do, [supplied: even] all the words of this law.

וַיֹּ֤אמֶר (וַ) va “and”

Yahweh spoke to Moses that same day, saying,

וַיְדַבֵּ֤ר (וַ) va “and”

and die on the mountain where you go up, and be gathered to your people, as Aaron your brother died on Mount Hor, and was gathered to his people:

וַיֵּאָ֖סֶף (וַ) va “and”

He said, Yahweh came from Sinai, Rose from Seir to them; He shined forth from Mount Paran, He came from the ten thousands of holy ones: At his right hand was a fiery law for them.

וַיֹּאמַ֗ר (וַ) va “and”וְאָתָ֖ה (וְ) ve. “and”

He was king in Jeshurun, When the heads of the people were gathered, All the tribes of Israel together.

וַיְהִ֥י (וַ) va “and”

This is [supplied: the blessing] of Judah: and he said, Hear, Yahweh, the voice of Judah, Bring him in to his people. With his hands he contended for himself; You shall be a help against his adversaries.

וַיֹּאמַר֒ (וַ) va “and”

He provided the first part for himself, For there was the lawgiver's portion reserved; He came [supplied: with] the heads of the people; He executed the righteousness of Yahweh, His ordinances with Israel.

וַיַּ֤רְא (וַ) va “and”וַיֵּתֵא֙ (וַ) va “and”

The eternal God is [supplied: your] dwelling-place, Underneath are the everlasting arms. He thrust out the enemy from before you, Said, Destroy.

וַיְגָ֧רֶשׁ (וַ) va “and”וַיֹּ֥אמֶר (וַ) va “and”

Israel dwells in safety, The fountain of Jacob alone, In a land of grain and new wine; Yes, his heavens drop down dew.

וַיִּשְׁכֹּן֩ (וַ) va “and”

Moses went up from the plains of Moab to Mount Nebo, to the top of Pisgah, that is over against Jericho. Yahweh shown him all the land of Gilead, to Dan,

וַיַּ֨עַל (וַ) va “and”וַיַּרְאֵ֨הוּ (וַ) va “and”

Yahweh said to him, This is the land which I swore to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, saying, I will give it to your seed: I have caused you to see it with your eyes, but you shall not go over there.

וַיֹּ֨אמֶר (וַ) va “and”

So Moses the servant of Yahweh died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of Yahweh.
