So now ye are nothing; ye see a terrible object and are afraid.

עַ֭תָּה 'A.tah “now”

Now therefore if ye will, look upon me; and it shall be to your face if I lie.

וְ֭עַתָּה (עַתָּה) 'a.tah “therefore”

And why dost not thou forgive my transgression and take away mine iniquity? for now shall I lie down in the dust, and thou shalt seek me early, and I shall not be.

עַ֭תָּה 'A.tah “now”

If thou be pure and upright, surely now he will awake for thee, and make the habitation of thy righteousness prosperous;

עַ֭תָּה 'A.tah “now”

Who is he that contendeth with me? For if I were silent now, I should expire.

עַתָּ֖ה 'a.Tah “now”

For now thou numberest my steps: dost thou not watch over my sin?

עַ֭תָּה 'A.tah “now”

But now he hath made me weary; ... thou hast made desolate all my family;

עַתָּ֥ה 'a.Tah “now”

Even now, behold, my Witness is in the heavens, and he that voucheth for me is in the heights.

עַ֭תָּה 'A.tah “now”

But now they that are younger than I have me in derision, whose fathers I would have disdained to set with the dogs of my flock.

וְעַתָּ֤ה׀ (עַתָּ֤ה) 'a.Tah “now”

And now I am their song, yea, I am their byword.

וְ֭עַתָּה (עַתָּה) 'a.tah “now”

And now my soul is poured out in me; days of affliction have taken hold upon me.

וְעַתָּ֗ה (עַתָּ֗ה) 'a.Tah “now”

But now, because he hath not visited in his anger, doth not [supplied: Job] know [supplied: his] great arrogancy?

וְעַתָּ֗ה (עַתָּ֗ה) 'a.Tah “now”

And now [supplied: men] see not the light as it gleameth, it is [supplied: hidden] in the skies. But the wind passeth by and cleareth them.

וְעַתָּ֤ה׀ (עַתָּ֤ה) 'a.Tah “now”

I had heard of thee by the hearing of the ear, but now mine eye seeth thee:

וְ֝עַתָּ֗ה (עַתָּ֗ה) 'a.Tah “now”

And now, take for yourselves seven bullocks and seven rams, and go to my servant Job, and offer up for yourselves a burnt-offering; and my servant Job shall pray for you, for him will I accept: lest I deal with you [supplied: after your] folly, for ye have not spoken of me rightly, like my servant Job.

וְעַתָּ֡ה (עַתָּ֡ה) 'a.Tah “therefore”

And now, O kings, be ye wise, be admonished, ye judges of the earth.

וְ֭עַתָּה (עַתָּה) 'a.tah “therefore”

Because of the oppression of the afflicted, because of the sighing of the needy, now will I arise, saith Jehovah, I will set [supplied: him] in safety, at whom they puff.

עַתָּ֣ה 'a.Tah “now”

They have now encompassed us in our steps; their eyes have they set, bowing down to the earth.

עַתָּ֣ה 'a.Tah “now”

Now know I that Jehovah saveth his anointed; he answereth him from the heavens of his holiness, with the saving strength of his right hand.

עַתָּ֤ה 'a.Tah “now”

And now shall my head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me; and I will offer in his tent sacrifices of shouts of joy: I will sing, yea, I will sing psalms unto Jehovah.

וְעַתָּ֨ה (עַתָּ֨ה) 'a.Tah “now”

And now, what wait I for, Lord? my hope is in thee.

וְעַתָּ֣ה (עַתָּ֣ה) 'a.Tah “now”

And now they break down its carved work altogether, with hatchets and hammers.

וְ֭עַתָּה (עַתָּה) 'a.tah “now”

Blessed be the name of Jehovah, from this time forth and for evermore!

מֵֽ֝עַתָּ֗ה (עַתָּ֗ה) 'a.Tah “now”

But *we* will bless Jah from this time forth and for evermore. Hallelujah!

מֵֽעַתָּ֥ה (עַתָּ֥ה) 'a.Tah “now”

Before I was afflicted I went astray, but now I keep thy word.
