H6258–עַתָּ֫ה–at.tah

either three years of famine; or three months to be consumed before thy foes, while the sword of thine enemies overtaketh thee; or else three days the sword of Jehovah, even pestilence in the land, and the angel of Jehovah destroying throughout all the borders of Israel. Now therefore consider what answer I shall return to him that sent me.

וְעַתָּ֣ה (עַתָּ֣ה) 'a.Tah “therefore”

And God sent an angel unto Jerusalem to destroy it: and as he was about to destroy, Jehovah beheld, and he repented him of the evil, and said to the destroying angel, It is enough; now stay thy hand. And the angel of Jehovah was standing by the threshing-floor of Ornan the Jebusite.

עַתָּ֖ה 'a.Tah “now”

Now, my son, Jehovah be with thee; and prosper thou, and build the house of Jehovah thy God, as he hath spoken concerning thee.

עַתָּ֣ה 'a.Tah “now”

Now set your heart and your soul to seek after Jehovah your God; arise therefore, and build ye the sanctuary of Jehovah God, to bring the ark of the covenant of Jehovah, and the holy vessels of God, into the house that is to be built to the name of Jehovah.

Now therefore, in the sight of all Israel, the assembly of Jehovah, and in the audience of our God, observe and seek out all the commandments of Jehovah your God; that ye may possess this good land, and leave it for an inheritance to your children after you for ever.

וְ֠עַתָּה (עַתָּה) 'a.tah “therefore”

Take heed now; for Jehovah hath chosen thee to build a house for the sanctuary: be strong, and do it.

עַתָּ֗ה 'a.Tah “now”

Now therefore, our God, we thank thee, and praise thy glorious name.

וְעַתָּ֣ה (עַתָּ֣ה) 'a.Tah “therefore”

I know also, my God, that thou triest the heart, and hast pleasure in uprightness. As for me, in the uprightness of my heart I have willingly offered all these things: and now have I seen with joy thy people, that are present here, offer willingly unto thee.

וְעַתָּ֗ה (עַתָּ֗ה) 'a.Tah “now”

Now, O Jehovah God, let thy promise unto David my father be established; for thou hast made me king over a people like the dust of the earth in multitude.

עַתָּה֙ 'a.Tah “now”

Give me now wisdom and knowledge, that I may go out and come in before this people; for who can judge this thy people, that is so great?

עַתָּ֗ה 'a.Tah “now”

Now therefore send me a man skilful to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass, and in iron, and in purple, and crimson, and blue, and that knoweth how to grave [supplied: all manner of] gravings, [supplied: to be] with the skilful men that are with me in Judah and in Jerusalem, whom David my father did provide.

And now I have sent a skilful man, endued with understanding, of Huram my father's,

וְעַתָּ֗ה (עַתָּ֗ה) 'a.Tah “now”

Now therefore the wheat and the barley, the oil and the wine, which my lord hath spoken of, let him send unto his servants:

וְ֠עַתָּה (עַתָּה) 'a.tah “therefore”

Now therefore, O Jehovah, the God of Israel, keep with thy servant David my father that which thou hast promised him, saying, There shall not fail thee a man in my sight to sit on the throne of Israel, if only thy children take heed to their way, to walk in my law as thou hast walked before me.

וְעַתָּ֞ה (עַתָּ֞ה) 'a.Tah “now”

Now therefore, O Jehovah, the God of Israel, let thy word be verified, which thou spakest unto thy servant David.

וְעַתָּ֕ה (עַתָּ֕ה) 'a.Tah “now”

Now, O my God, let, I beseech thee, thine eyes be open, and let thine ears be attent, unto the prayer that is made in this place.

עַתָּ֣ה 'a.Tah “now”

Now therefore arise, O Jehovah God, into thy resting-place, thou, and the ark of thy strength: let thy priests, O Jehovah God, be clothed with salvation, and let thy saints rejoice in goodness.

וְעַתָּ֗ה (עַתָּ֗ה) 'a.Tah “now”

Now mine eyes shall be open, and mine ears attent, unto the prayer that is made in this place.

עַתָּ֗ה 'a.Tah “now”

For now have I chosen and hallowed this house, that my name may be there for ever; and mine eyes and my heart shall be there perpetually.

וְעַתָּ֗ה (עַתָּ֗ה) 'a.Tah “now”

Thy father made our yoke grievous: now therefore make thou the grievous service of thy father, and his heavy yoke which he put upon us, lighter, and we will serve thee.

וְעַתָּ֡ה (עַתָּ֡ה) 'a.Tah “therefore”

And now whereas my father did lade you with a heavy yoke, I will add to your yoke: my father chastised you with whips, but I [supplied: will chastise you] with scorpions.

וְעַתָּ֗ה (עַתָּ֗ה) 'a.Tah “therefore”

And when all Israel saw that the king hearkened not unto them, the people answered the king, saying, What portion have we in David? neither have we inheritance in the son of Jesse: every man to your tents, O Israel: now see to thine own house, David. So all Israel departed unto their tents.

And now ye think to withstand the kingdom of Jehovah in the hand of the sons of David; and ye are a great multitude, and there are with you the golden calves which Jeroboam made you for gods.

וְעַתָּ֣ה׀ (עַתָּ֣ה) 'a.Tah “now”

For the eyes of Jehovah run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Herein thou hast done foolishly; for from henceforth thou shalt have wars.

מֵעַ֔תָּה (עַ֔תָּה) 'A.tah “now”

Now therefore, behold, Jehovah hath put a lying spirit in the mouth of these thy prophets; and Jehovah hath spoken evil concerning thee.
