And Jehu the son of Hanani, the seer, went out to meet him, and said to king Jehoshaphat, Shouldest thou help the ungodly, and love them that hate Jehovah? Therefore is wrath upon thee from Jehovah.

לַעְזֹ֔ר (עְזֹ֔ר) '.Zor “help”

And the children of Ammon and Moab stood up against the inhabitants of mount Seir, to exterminate and destroy [supplied: them]; and when they had made an end of the inhabitants of Seir, they helped to destroy one another.

עָזְר֥וּ 'a.ze.Ru “they helped”

But if thou wilt go, do [supplied: it]; be strong for the battle: God will make thee fall before the enemy, for there is with God power to help and to cast down.

לַעְז֥וֹר (עְז֥וֹר) '.Zor “help”

And God helped him against the Philistines, and against the Arabians that dwelt in Gur-Baal, and the Maonites.

וַיַּעְזְרֵ֨הוּ (יַּעְזְרֵ֨) i.ya'.ze.Re. “he helped”

And under their hand was an army-host of three hundred and seven thousand five hundred, that made war with mighty power to help the king against the enemy.

And he made in Jerusalem machines invented by skilful men, to be upon the towers and upon the bulwarks, wherewith to shoot arrows and great stones. And his name spread far abroad; for he was marvellously helped, till he became strong.

At that time king Ahaz sent to the kings of Assyria to help him.

And he sacrificed to the gods of Damascus, which had smitten him; and he said, Since the gods of the kings of Syria help them, I will sacrifice to them, that they may help me. But they were the ruin of him, and of all Israel.

he took counsel with his princes and his mighty men to stop the fountains of waters that were outside the city; and they helped him.

with him is an arm of flesh, but with us is Jehovah our God to help us and to fight our battles. And the people depended upon the words of Hezekiah king of Judah.

לְעָזְרֵ֔נוּ (עָזְרֵ֔) 'a.ze.Re. “help”

For I was ashamed to require of the king a band of soldiers and horsemen to help us against the enemy in the way; for we had spoken to the king saying, The hand of our God is upon all them for good that seek him; but his power and his anger is against all them that forsake him.

לְעָזְרֵ֥נוּ (עָזְרֵ֥) 'a.ze.Re. “help”

Only Jonathan the son of Asahel and Jahzeiah the son of Tikvah stood up against this; and Meshullam and Shabbethai the Levite helped them.

+God withdraweth not his anger; the proud helpers stoop under him:

עֹ֣זְרֵי 'O.ze.rei “[the] helpers of”

How hast thou helped the powerless; how saved the arm that is without strength!

עָזַ֥רְתָּ 'a.Zar.ta “you have helped”

For I delivered the afflicted that cried, and the fatherless who had no helper.

עֹזֵ֥ר 'o.Zer “a helper”

They mar my path, they set forward my calamity, without any to help them;

עֹזֵ֣ר 'o.Zer “a helper”

Thou hast seen [supplied: it], for thou thyself beholdest trouble and vexation, to requite by thy hand. The wretched committeth himself unto thee; thou hast been the helper of the fatherless.

Be not far from me, for trouble is near; for there is none to help.

Jehovah is my strength and my shield; my heart confided in him, and I was helped: therefore my heart exulteth, and with my song will I praise him.

וְֽנֶ֫עֱזָ֥רְתִּי (נֶ֫עֱזָ֥רְתִּי) Ne.'e.Za.re.ti “I was helped”

Hear, O Jehovah, and be gracious unto me; Jehovah, be my helper.

עֹזֵ֥ר 'o.Zer “a helper”

And Jehovah will help them and deliver them: he will deliver them from the wicked, and save them; for they trust in him.

וַֽיַּעְזְרֵ֥ם (יַּעְזְרֵ֥) i.ya'.ze.Re “he helped”

God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her at the dawn of the morning.

יַעְזְרֶ֥הָ (יַעְזְרֶ֥) ya'.ze.Re. “he will help”

Behold, God is my helper; the Lord is among them that uphold my soul.

For he will deliver the needy who crieth, and the afflicted, who hath no helper;

עֹזֵ֥ר 'o.Zer “a helper”

Help us, O God of our salvation, because of the glory of thy name; and deliver us, and forgive our sins, for thy name's sake.
