and say, O Jehovah, thou hast spoken concerning this place, to cut it off, that none shall dwell therein, neither man nor beast, but that it shall be desolate for ever.

הַמָּק֤וֹם (מָּק֤וֹם) ma.Kom “place”

Then the Spirit lifted me up, and I heard behind me the voice of a great rushing, [supplied: saying], Blessed be the glory of Jehovah from his place.

מִמְּקוֹמֽוֹ׃ (מְּקוֹמֽ) me.ko.M “place”

And ye shall know that I am Jehovah, when their slain men shall be among their idols round about their altars, upon every high hill, on all the tops of the mountains, and under every green tree, and under every thick oak, the places where they offered sweet savor to all their idols.

When they went, they went in their four directions: they turned not as they went, but to the place whither the head looked they followed it; they turned not as they went.

Therefore, thou son of man, prepare thee stuff for removing, and remove by day in their sight; and thou shalt remove from thy place to another place in their sight: it may be they will consider, though they are a rebellious house.

As I live, saith the Lord Jehovah, surely in the place where the king dwelleth that made him king, whose oath he despised, and whose covenant he brake, even with him in the midst of Babylon he shall die.

בִּמְקוֹם֙ (מְקוֹם֙) m.kOm “[the] place of”

Cause it to return into its sheath. In the place where thou wast created, in the land of thy birth, will I judge thee.

As a shepherd seeketh out his flock in the day that he is among his sheep that are scattered abroad, so will I seek out my sheep; and I will deliver them out of all places whither they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day.

הַמְּקוֹמֹת֙ (מְּקוֹמֹת֙) me.ko.Mot “places”

And thou shalt come from thy place out of the uttermost parts of the north, thou, and many peoples with thee, all of them riding upon horses, a great company and a mighty army;

And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will give unto Gog a place for burial in Israel, the valley of them that pass through on the east of the sea; and it shall stop them that pass through: and there shall they bury Gog and all his multitude; and they shall call it The valley of Hamon-gog.

And the doors of the side-chambers were toward [supplied: the place] that was left, one door toward the north, and another door toward the south: and the breadth of the place that was left was five cubits round about.

Then said he unto me, The north chambers and the south chambers, which are before the separate place, they are the holy chambers, where the priests that are near unto Jehovah shall eat the most holy things: there shall they lay the most holy things, and the meal-offering, and the sin-offering, and the trespass-offering; for the place is holy.

And he said unto me, Son of man, [supplied: this is] the place of my throne, and the place of the soles of my feet, where I will dwell in the midst of the children of Israel for ever. And the house of Israel shall no more defile my holy name, neither they, nor their kings, by their whoredom, and by the dead bodies of their kings [supplied: in] their high places;

It is a holy portion of the land; it shall be for the priests, the ministers of the sanctuary, that come near to minister unto Jehovah; and it shall be a place for their houses, and a holy place for the sanctuary.

Then he brought me through the entry, which was at the side of the gate, into the holy chambers for the priests, which looked toward the north: and, behold, there was a place on the hinder part westward.

And he said unto me, This is the place where the priests shall boil the trespass-offering and the sin-offering, [supplied: and] where they shall bake the meal-offering; that they bring them not forth into the outer court, to sanctify the people.

Yet the number of the children of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured nor numbered; and it shall come to pass that, in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people, it shall be said unto them, [supplied: Ye are] the sons of the living God.

I will go and return to my place, till they acknowledge their offence, and seek my face: in their affliction they will seek me earnestly.

מְקוֹמִ֔י (מְקוֹמִ֔) me.ko.M “place”

behold, I will stir them up out of the place whither ye have sold them, and will return your recompense upon your own head;

הַ֨מָּק֔וֹם (מָּק֔וֹם) ma.Kom “place”

And I also have given you cleanness of teeth in all your cities, and want of bread in all your places; yet have ye not returned unto me, saith Jehovah.

מְקוֹמֹֽתֵיכֶ֑ם (מְקוֹמֹֽתֵי) me.ko.mo.tei. “places”

And the songs of the temple shall be wailings in that day, saith the Lord Jehovah: the dead bodies shall be many: in every place shall they cast them forth with silence.

For, behold, Jehovah cometh forth out of his place, and will come down, and tread upon the high places of the earth.

מִמְּקוֹמ֑וֹ (מְּקוֹמ֑) me.ko.M “place”

But with an over-running flood he will make a full end of her place, and will pursue his enemies into darkness.

מְקוֹמָ֑הּ (מְקוֹמָ֑) me.ko.Ma “place”

Thy princes are as the locusts, and thy marshals as the swarms of grasshoppers, which encamp in the hedges in the cold day, but when the sun ariseth they flee away, and their place is not known where they are.

And I will stretch out my hand upon Judah, and upon all the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and I will cut off the remnant of Baal from this place, [supplied: and] the name of the Chemarim with the priests;
