But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly after this sort? for all things come of thee, and of thine own have we given thee.

מִ֤י mi “who?”וּמִ֣י (מִ֣י) Mi “who?”

Give me now wisdom and knowledge, that I may go out and come in before this people; for who can judge this thy people, that is so great?

מִ֣י mi “who?”

But who is able to build him a house, seeing heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain him? who am I then, that I should build him a house, save only to burn incense before him?

וּמִ֤י (מִ֤י) Mi “who?”וּמִ֤י (מִ֤י) Mi “who?”

And Jehovah said, Who shall entice Ahab king of Israel, that he may go up and fall at Ramoth-gilead? And one spake saying after this manner, and another saying after that manner.

מִ֤י mi “who?”

Who was there among all the gods of those nations which my fathers utterly destroyed, that could deliver his people out of my hand, that your God should be able to deliver you out of my hand?

מִ֠י mi “who?”

Thus saith Cyrus king of Persia, All the kingdoms of the earth hath Jehovah, the God of heaven, given me; and he hath charged me to build him a house in Jerusalem, which is in Judah. Whosoever there is among you of all his people, Jehovah his God be with him, and let him go up.

מִֽי־ mi- “who?”

Whosoever there is among you of all his people, his God be with him, and let him go up to Jerusalem, which is in Judah, and build the house of Jehovah, the God of Israel (he is God), which is in Jerusalem.

מִֽי־ mi- “who?”

And I said, Should such a man as I flee? and who is there, that, being such as I, would go into the temple to save his life? I will not go in.

וּמִ֥י (מִ֥י) Mi “who?”

For if thou altogether holdest thy peace at this time, then will relief and deliverance arise to the Jews from another place, but thou and thy father's house will perish: and who knoweth whether thou art not come to the kingdom for such a time as this?

וּמִ֣י (מִ֣י) Mi “who?”

And the king said, Who is in the court? Now Haman was come into the outward court of the king's house, to speak unto the king to hang Mordecai on the gallows that he had prepared for him.

מִ֣י mi “who?”

So Haman came in. And the king said unto him, What shall be done unto the man whom the king delighteth to honor? Now Haman said in his heart, To whom would the king delight to do honor more than to myself?

לְמִ֞י (מִ֞י) Mi “whom?”

Then spake the king Ahasuerus and said unto Esther the queen, Who is he, and where is he, that durst presume in his heart to do so?

מִ֣י mi “who?”

If one assay to commune with thee, wilt thou be grieved? But who can withhold himself from speaking?

מִ֣י mi “who?”

Remember, I pray thee, who [supplied: ever] perished, being innocent? Or where were the upright cut off?

מִ֤י mi “who?”

Call now; is there any that will answer thee? And to which of the holy ones wilt thou turn?

מִ֖י mi “whom?”

Oh that I might have my request; And that God would grant [supplied: me] the thing that I long for!

מִֽי־ mi- “who?”

[supplied: He is] wise in heart, and mighty in strength: Who hath hardened himself against him, and prospered?-

מִֽי־ mi- “who?”

Behold, he seizeth [supplied: the prey], who can hinder him? Who will say unto him, What doest thou?

מִ֣י mi “who?”מִֽי־ mi- “who?”

If [supplied: we speak] of strength, lo, [supplied: he is] mighty! And if of justice, Who, [supplied: saith he], will summon me?

מִ֣י mi “who?”

The earth is given into the hand of the wicked; He covereth the faces of the judges thereof: If [supplied: it be] not [supplied: he], who then is it?

מִי־ mi- “who?”

But oh that God would speak, And open his lips against thee,

מִֽי־ mi- “who?”

If he pass through, and shut up, And all unto judgment, then who can hinder him?

וּמִ֣י (מִ֣י) Mi “who?”

But I have understanding as well as you; I am not inferior to you: Yea, who knoweth not such things as these?

מִי־ mi- “whom?”

Who knoweth not in all these, That the hand of Jehovah hath wrought this,

מִ֭י mi “who?”

Oh that ye would altogether hold your peace! And it would be your wisdom.

מִֽי־ mi- “who?”
