So it shall be a reproach and a taunt, an instruction and an astonishment, unto the nations that are round about thee, when I shall execute judgments on thee in anger and in wrath, and in wrathful rebukes; (I, Jehovah, have spoken it;)

מוּסָ֣ר mu.Sar “a warning”

And the revolters are gone deep in making slaughter; but I am a rebuker of them all.

מוּסָ֥ר mu.Sar “[am] discipline”

She obeyed not the voice; she received not correction; she trusted not in Jehovah; she drew not near to her God.

I said, Only fear thou me; receive correction; so her dwelling shall not be cut off, [supplied: according to] all that I have appointed concerning her: but they rose early and corrupted all their doings.
