To show that Jehovah is upright; He is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.

וְֽלֹא־ (לֹא) lo'- “not”

And they say, Jehovah will not see, Neither will the God of Jacob consider.

לֹ֣א lo' “not”וְלֹא־ (לֹא) lo'- “not”

He that planted the ear, shall he not hear? He that formed the eye, shall he not see?

הֲלֹ֣א (לֹ֣א) Lo' “not”הֲלֹ֣א (לֹ֣א) Lo' “not”

He that chastiseth the nations, shall not he correct, [supplied: Even] he that teacheth man knowledge?

הֲלֹ֣א (לֹ֣א) Lo' “not”

For Jehovah will not cast off his people, Neither will he forsake his inheritance.

לֹא־ lo'- “not”לֹ֣א lo' “not”

Forty years long was I grieved with [supplied: that] generation, And said, It is a people that do err in their heart, And they have not known my ways:

I will set no base thing before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; It shall not cleave unto me.

לֹֽא־ lo'- “not”לֹ֖א lo' “not”

A perverse heart shall depart from me: I will know no evil thing.

לֹ֣א lo' “not”

Whoso privily slandereth his neighbor, him will I destroy: Him that hath a high look and a proud heart will I not suffer.

He that worketh deceit shall not dwell within my house: He that speaketh falsehood shall not be established before mine eyes.

He hath regarded the prayer of the destitute, And hath not despised their prayer.

וְלֹֽא־ (לֹֽא) lo'- “not”

But thou art the same, And thy years shall have no end.

He will not always chide; Neither will he keep [supplied: his anger] for ever.

He hath not dealt with us after our sins, Nor rewarded us after our iniquities.

For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; And the place thereof shall know it no more.

He suffered no man to do them wrong; Yea, he reproved kings for their sakes,

He sent darkness, and made it dark; And they rebelled not against his words.

וְלֹֽא־ (לֹֽא) lo'- “not”

Our fathers understood not thy wonders in Egypt; They remembered not the multitude of thy lovingkindnesses, But were rebellious at the sea, even at the Red Sea.

And the waters covered their adversaries; There was not one of them left.

They soon forgat his works; They waited not for his counsel,

Yea, they despised the pleasant land, They believed not his word,

לֹֽא־ lo'- “not”

But murmured in their tents, And hearkened not unto the voice of Jehovah.

They did not destroy the peoples, As Jehovah commanded them,

לֹֽא־ lo'- “not”

They wandered in the wilderness in a desert way; They found no city of habitation.

לֹ֣א lo' “not”

He blesseth them also, so that they are multiplied greatly; And he suffereth not their cattle to decrease.
