And as for the prophet, and the priest, and the people, that shall say: 'The burden of the LORD', I will even punish that man and his house.

וְהַכֹּהֵן֙ (כֹּהֵן֙) ko.Hen “priest”

So the priests and the prophets and all the people heard Jeremiah speaking these words in the house of the LORD.

הַכֹּהֲנִ֥ים (כֹּהֲנִ֥ים) ko.ha.Nim “priests”

Now it came to pass, when Jeremiah had made an end of speaking all that the LORD had commanded him to speak unto all the people, that the priests and the prophets and all the people laid hold on him, saying: 'Thou shalt surely die.

הַכֹּהֲנִ֧ים (כֹּהֲנִ֧ים) ko.ha.Nim “priests”

Then spoke the priests and the prophets unto the princes and to all the people, saying: 'This man is worthy of death; for he hath prophesied against this city, as ye have heard with your ears.'

Then said the princes and all the people unto the priests and to the prophets: 'This man is not worthy of death; for he hath spoken to us in the name of the LORD our God.'

Also I spoke to the priests and to all this people, saying: 'Thus saith the LORD: Hearken not to the words of your prophets that prophesy unto you, saying: Behold, the vessels of the LORD'S house shall now shortly be brought back from Babylon; for they p

And it came to pass the same year, in the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah, in the fourth year, in the fifth month, that Hananiah the son of Azzur the prophet, who was of Gibeon, spoke unto me in the house of the LORD, in the presence of

הַכֹּהֲנִ֛ים (כֹּהֲנִ֛ים) ko.ha.Nim “priests”

Then the prophet Jeremiah said unto the prophet Hananiah in the presence of the priests, and in the presence of all the people that stood in the house of the LORD,

הַכֹּֽהֲנִים֙ (כֹּֽהֲנִים֙) ko.ha.Nim “priests”

Now these are the words of the letter that Jeremiah the prophet sent from Jerusalem unto the residue of the elders of the captivity, and to the priests, and to the prophets, and to all the people, whom Nebuchadnezzar had carried away captive from Jerusal

Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, saying: Because thou hast sent letters in thine own name unto all the people that are at Jerusalem, and to Zephaniah the son of Maaseiah the priest, and to all the priests, saying:

הַכֹּהֵ֔ן (כֹּהֵ֔ן) ko.Hen “priest”הַכֹּהֲנִ֖ים (כֹּהֲנִ֖ים) ko.ha.Nim “priests”

'The LORD hath made thee priest in the stead of Jehoiada the priest, that there should be officers in the house of the LORD for every man that is mad, and maketh himself a prophet, that thou shouldest put him in the stocks and in the collar.

And Zephaniah the priest read this letter in the ears of Jeremiah the prophet.

הַכֹּהֵ֖ן (כֹּהֵ֖ן) ko.Hen “priest”

And I will satiate the soul of the priests with fatness, and My people shall be satisfied with My goodness, saith the LORD.

הַכֹּהֲנִ֖ים (כֹּהֲנִ֖ים) ko.ha.Nim “priests”

because of all the evil of the children of Israel and of the children of Judah, which they have done to provoke Me, they, their kings, their princes, their priests, and their prophets, and the men of Judah, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

neither shall there be cut off unto the priests the Levites a man before Me to offer burnt-offerings, and to burn meal-offerings, and to do sacrifice continually.

Then may also My covenant be broken with David My servant, that he should not have a son to reign upon his throne; and with the Levites the priests, My ministers.

הַכֹּהֲנִ֖ים (כֹּהֲנִ֖ים) ko.ha.Nim “priests”

the princes of Judah, and the princes of Jerusalem, the officers, and the priests, and all the people of the land, that passed between the parts of the calf;

וְהַכֹּ֣הֲנִ֔ים (כֹּ֣הֲנִ֔ים) Ko.ha.Nim “priests”

And Zedekiah the king sent Jehucal the son of Shelemiah, and Zephaniah the son of Maaseiah the priest, to the prophet Jeremiah, saying: 'Pray now unto the LORD our God for us.'

For, because thou hast trusted in thy works and in thy treasures, thou also shalt be taken; and Chemosh shall go forth into captivity, his priests and his princes together.

Wail, O Heshbon, for Ai is undone; cry, ye daughters of Rabbah, gird you with sackcloth; lament, and run to and fro among the folds; for Malcam shall go into captivity, his priests and his princes together.

And the captain of the guard took Seraiah the chief priest, and Zephaniah the second priest, and the three keepers of the door;

The ways of Zion do mourn, because none come to the solemn assembly; all her gates are desolate, her priests sigh; her virgins are afflicted, and she herself is in bitterness.

I called for my lovers, but they deceived me; my priests and mine elders perished in the city, while they sought them food to refresh their souls.

And He hath stripped His tabernacle, as if it were a garden, He hath destroyed His place of assembly; the LORD hath caused to be forgotten in Zion appointed season and sabbath, and hath rejected in the indignation of His anger the king and the priest.

'See, O LORD, and consider, to whom Thou hast done thus! Shall the women eat their fruit, the children that are dandled in the hands? Shall the priest and the prophet be slain in the sanctuary of the Lord?
