H3381–יָרַד–ya.rad

And he returned to be healed in Jezreel of the wounds which they had given him at Ramah, when he fought against Hazael king of Aram. And Azariah the son of Jehoram king of Judah went down to see Jehoram the son of Ahab in Jezreel, because he was sick.

יָרַ֡ד ya.Rad “he went down”

And he took the captains of hundreds, and the nobles, and the governors of the people, and all the people of the land, and brought down the king from the house of the LORD; and they came through the upper gate unto the king's house, and set the king upon

וַיּ֤וֹרֶד (יּ֤וֹרֶד) i.Yo.red “he brought down”

And the fountain gate repaired Shallun the son of Colhozeh, the ruler of the district of Mizpah; he built it, and covered it, and set up the doors thereof, the bolts thereof, and the bars thereof, and the wall of the pool of Shelah by the king's garden,

הַיּוֹרְד֖וֹת (יּוֹרְד֖וֹת) yor.Dot “go down”

And I sent messengers unto them, saying: 'I am doing a great work, so that I cannot come down; why should the work cease, whilst I leave it, and come down to you?'

לָרֶ֑דֶת (רֶ֑דֶת) Re.det “go down”וְיָרַדְתִּ֖י (יָרַדְתִּ֖י) ya.rad.Ti “I will go down”

Thou camest down also upon mount Sinai, and spokest with them from heaven, and gavest them right ordinances and laws of truth, good statutes and commandments;

יָרַ֔דְתָּ ya.Rad.ta “you came down”

As the cloud is consumed and vanisheth away, so he that goeth down to the grave shall come up no more.

יוֹרֵ֥ד yo.Red “[one who] has gone down”

They shall go down to the bars of the nether-world, when we are at rest together in the dust.

תֵּרַ֑דְנָה te.Rad.nah “will they go down?”

Then He is gracious unto him, and saith: 'Deliver him from going down to the pit, I have found a ransom.'

מֵרֶ֥דֶת (רֶ֥דֶת) Re.det “going down”

His mischief shall return upon his own head, and his violence shall come down upon his own pate.

יֵרֵֽד׃ ye.Red “it comes down”

He bowed the heavens also, and came down; and thick darkness was under His feet.

וַיֵּרַ֑ד (יֵּרַ֑ד) i.ye.Rad “he came down”

All the fat ones of the earth shall eat and worship; all they that go down to the dust shall kneel before Him, even he that cannot keep his soul alive.

יוֹרְדֵ֣י yor.Dei “[those who are] about to go down of”

A Psalm of David. Unto thee, O LORD, do I call; my Rock, be not Thou deaf unto me; lest, if Thou be silent unto me, I become like them that go down into the pit.

י֥וֹרְדֵי Yor.dei “[those who] go down”

O LORD, Thou broughtest up my soul from the nether-world; Thou didst kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit.

מִיָּֽרְדִי (יָּֽרְדִ) yor.de “going down”

'What profit is there in my blood, when I go down to the pit? Shall the dust praise Thee? shall it declare Thy truth?

בְּרִדְתִּ֪י (רִדְתִּ֪) rid.T “going down”

For when he dieth he shall carry nothing away; his wealth shall not descend after him.

יֵרֵ֖ד ye.Red “it will go down”

May He incite death against them, let them go down alive into the nether-world; for evil is in their dwelling, and within them.

יֵרְד֣וּ ye.re.Du “may they go down”

But Thou, O God, wilt bring them down into the nethermost pit; men of blood and deceit shall not live out half their days; but as for me, I will trust in Thee.

תּוֹרִדֵ֬ם׀ (תּוֹרִדֵ֬) to.ri.De “you will bring down”

Because of iniquity cast them out; in anger bring down the peoples, O God.

הוֹרֵ֬ד ho.Red “bring down”

Slay them not, lest my people forget, make them wander to and fro by Thy power, and bring them down, O Lord our shield.

וְהוֹרִידֵ֑מוֹ (הוֹרִידֵ֑) ho.ri.De. “bring down”

May he come down like rain upon the mown grass, as showers that water the earth.

יֵ֭רֵד Ye.red “he will come down”

He brought streams also out of the rock, and caused waters to run down like rivers.

וַיּ֖וֹרֶד (יּ֖וֹרֶד) i.Yo.red “he made to flow down”

I am counted with them that go down into the pit; I am become as a man that hath no help;

י֣וֹרְדֵי Yor.dei “[those who] go down of”

The mountains rose, the valleys sank down--unto the place which Thou hadst founded for them;

יֵרְד֣וּ ye.re.Du “they went down”

They that go down to the sea in ships, that do business in great waters--

יוֹרְדֵ֣י yor.Dei “[those who] went down”

They mounted up to the heaven, they went down to the deeps; their soul melted away because of trouble;

יֵרְד֣וּ ye.re.Du “they went down”
