The fear of Jehovah prolongeth days; But the years of the wicked shall be shortened.

יִרְאַ֣ת yir.'At “[the] fear of”

In the fear of Jehovah is strong confidence; And his children shall have a place of refuge.

בְּיִרְאַ֣ת (יִרְאַ֣ת) yir.'At “[the] fear of”

The fear of Jehovah is a fountain of life, That one may depart from the snares of death.

יִרְאַ֣ת yir.'At “[the] fear of”

Better is little, with the fear of Jehovah, Than great treasure and trouble therewith.

בְּיִרְאַ֣ת (יִרְאַ֣ת) yir.'At “[the] fear of”

The fear of Jehovah is the instruction of wisdom; And before honor [supplied: goeth] humility.

יִרְאַ֣ת yir.'At “[the] fear of”

By mercy and truth iniquity is atoned for; And by the fear of Jehovah men depart from evil.

וּבְיִרְאַ֥ת (יִרְאַ֥ת) yir.'At “[the] fear of”

The fear of Jehovah [supplied: tendeth] to life; And he [supplied: that hath it] shall abide satisfied; He shall not be visited with evil.

יִרְאַ֣ת yir.'At “[the] fear of”

The reward of humility [supplied: and] the fear of Jehovah [supplied: Is] riches, and honor, and life.

יִרְאַ֣ת yir.'At “[the] fear of”

Let not thy heart envy sinners; But [supplied: be thou] in the fear of Jehovah all the day long:

בְּיִרְאַת־ (יִרְאַת) yir.'at- “[the] fear of”

And all the hills that were digged with the mattock, thou shalt not come thither for fear of briers and thorns; but it shall be for the sending forth of oxen, and for the treading of sheep.

יִרְאַ֖ת yir.'At “fear of”

And the Spirit of Jehovah shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of Jehovah.

וְיִרְאַ֥ת (יִרְאַ֥ת) yir.'At “[the] fear of”

And his delight shall be in the fear of Jehovah; and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither decide after the hearing of his ears;

בְּיִרְאַ֣ת (יִרְאַ֣ת) yir.'At “[the] fear of”

And the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw nigh [supplied: unto me], and with their mouth and with their lips to honor me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear of me is a commandment of men which hath been taught [supplied: them];

יִרְאָתָם֙ (יִרְאָתָ) yir.'a.Ta “fear”

And there shall be stability in thy times, abundance of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge: the fear of Jehovah is thy treasure.

O Jehovah, why dost thou make us to err from thy ways, and hardenest our heart from thy fear? Return for thy servants' sake, the tribes of thine inheritance.

מִיִּרְאָתֶ֑ךָ (יִּרְאָתֶ֑) yir.'a.Te. “fear of”

and I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from following them, to do them good; and I will put my fear in their hearts, that they may not depart from me.

יִרְאָתִי֙ (יִרְאָתִ) yir.'a.T “fear”

As for their rims, they were high and dreadful; and they four had their rims full of eyes round about.

וְיִרְאָ֣ה (יִרְאָ֣ה) yir.'Ah “fear”

Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: I will also destroy the idols, and I will cause the images to cease from Memphis; and there shall be no more a prince from the land of Egypt: and I will put a fear in the land of Egypt.

יִרְאָ֖ה yir.'Ah “fear”

Then were the men exceedingly afraid, and said unto him, What is this that thou hast done? For the men knew that he was fleeing from the presence of Jehovah, because he had told them.

Then the men feared Jehovah exceedingly; and they offered a sacrifice unto Jehovah, and made vows.
