H2088–זֶה–zeh

And Esau said, Let me now leave with thee [supplied: some] of the people that are with me. And he said, What need? Let me find favour in the eyes of my lord.

זֶּ֔ה Zeh “this”

and said to them, We cannot do this, to give our sister to one that is uncircumcised; for that [supplied: were] a reproach to us.

הַזֶּ֔ה (זֶּ֔ה) Zeh “this”

And it came to pass when it went hard with her in her childbearing, that the midwife said to her, Fear not; for this also is a son for thee.

זֶ֥ה zeh “this [one]”

And he said to them, Hear, I pray you, this dream, which I have dreamt:

הַזֶּ֖ה (זֶּ֖ה) Zeh “this”

And he told [supplied: it] to his father and to his brethren. And his father rebuked him, and said to him, What is this dream which thou hast dreamt? Shall we indeed come, I and thy mother and thy brethren, to bow down ourselves to thee to the earth?

הַזֶּ֖ה (זֶּ֖ה) Zeh “this”

And the man said, They have removed from this; for I heard them say, Let us go to Dothan. And Joseph went after his brethren, and found them at Dothan.

מִזֶּ֔ה (זֶּ֔ה) Zeh “here”

And Reuben said to them, Shed no blood: cast him into this pit which is in the wilderness; but lay no hand upon him -- in order that he might deliver him out of their hand, to bring him to his father again.

הַזֶּה֙ (זֶּה֙) Zeh “this”

And he asked the men of her place, saying, Where is the prostitute that was at Enaim, by the way-side? And they said, There was no prostitute here.

בָזֶ֖ה (זֶ֖ה) Zeh “this [place]”

And he returned to Judah, and said, I have not found her; and also the men of the place said, No prostitute has been here.

בָזֶ֖ה (זֶ֖ה) Zeh “this [place]”

Then Judah said, Let her take [supplied: it] for herself, lest we be put to shame. Behold, I sent this kid, and thou hast not found her.

הַזֶּ֔ה (זֶּ֔ה) Zeh “this”

And it came to pass when she brought forth, that one stretched out [supplied: his] hand, and the midwife took it and bound round his hand a scarlet thread, saying, This came out first.

זֶ֖ה zeh “this one”

There is none greater in this house than I; neither has he withheld anything from me but thee, because thou art his wife; and how should I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?

הַזֶּה֮ (זֶּה֮) Zeh “this”

that on a certain day he went into the house to do his business, and there was none of the men of the house there in the house.

הַזֶּ֔ה (זֶּ֔ה) Zeh “this”

And Joseph said to him, This is the interpretation of it: the three branches are three days.

זֶ֖ה zeh “this”

Only bear a remembrance with thee of me when it goes well with thee, and deal kindly, I pray thee, with me, and make mention of me to Pharaoh, and bring me out of this house;

הַזֶּֽה׃ (זֶּֽה) Zeh “this”

And Joseph answered and said, This is the interpretation of it: the three baskets are three days.

זֶ֖ה zeh “this”

And Pharaoh said to his bondmen, Shall we find [supplied: one] as this, a man in whom the Spirit of God is?

כָזֶ֔ה (זֶ֔ה) Zeh “this one”

By this ye shall be put to the proof: as Pharaoh lives, ye shall not go forth hence, unless your youngest brother come hither!

מִזֶּ֔ה (זֶּ֔ה) Zeh “here”

For had we not lingered, we should now certainly have returned already twice.

זֶ֥ה zeh “this”

And he lifted up his eyes and saw his brother Benjamin, his mother's son, and said, Is this your younger brother of whom ye spoke to me? And he said, God be gracious to thee, my son!

הֲזֶה֙ (זֶה֙) Zeh “[is] this”

Is not this [supplied: it] in which my lord drinks, and in which indeed he divines? Ye have done evil [supplied: in] what ye have done.

זֶ֗ה Zeh “[is] this”

And they said to him, Why does my lord speak such words as these? Far be it from thy servants to do such a thing!

הַזֶּֽה׃ (זֶּֽה) Zeh “this”

And Joseph said to them, What deed is this which ye have done? Did ye not know that such a man as I can certainly divine?

הַזֶּ֖ה (זֶּ֖ה) Zeh “this”

And if ye take this one also from me, and mischief should befall him, ye will bring down my grey hairs with misery to Sheol.

זֶ֛ה zeh “this [one]”

For the famine has been these two years in the land; and yet there are five years in which there will be neither ploughing nor harvest.
