H2063–זֹאת–zot

And Jacob did so, and fulfilled the week [supplied: with] this one, and he gave him Rachel his daughter to be his wife.

זֹ֑את Zot “this [one]”

I am the God of Bethel, where thou anointedst the pillar, where thou vowedst a vow to me. Now arise, depart out of this land, and return to the land of thy kindred.

הַזֹּ֔את (זֹּ֔את) Zot “this”

[supplied: let] this heap be witness, and the pillar a witness, that neither I pass this heap [supplied: to go] to thee, nor thou pass this heap and this pillar [supplied: to come] to me, for harm.

הַזֹּ֖את (זֹּ֖את) Zot “this”

And Shechem spoke to his father Hamor, saying, Take me this girl as wife.

הַזֹּ֖את (זֹּ֖את) Zot “this”

But only in this will we consent to you, if ye will be as we, that every male of you be circumcised;

בְּזֹ֖את (זֹ֖את) Zot “this”

But only in this will the men consent to us to dwell with us, to be one people -- if every male among us be circumcised, just as they are circumcised.

בְּ֠זֹאת (זֹאת) zot “this”

and they sent the vest of many colours and had it carried to their father, and said, This have we found: discern now whether it is thy son's vest or not.

זֹ֣את zot “this”

There is none greater in this house than I; neither has he withheld anything from me but thee, because thou art his wife; and how should I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?

הַזֹּ֔את (זֹּ֔את) Zot “this”

And Pharaoh said to Joseph, Since God has made all this known to thee, there is none [supplied: so] discreet and wise as thou.

By this ye shall be put to the proof: as Pharaoh lives, ye shall not go forth hence, unless your youngest brother come hither!

בְּזֹ֖את (זֹ֖את) Zot “this”

And Joseph said to them the third day, This do, that ye may live: I fear God.

זֹ֥את zot “this”

Then they said one to another, We are indeed guilty concerning our brother, whose anguish of soul we saw when he besought us, and we did not hearken; therefore this distress is come upon us.

הַזֹּֽאת׃ (זֹּֽאת) Zot “this”

And he said to his brethren, My money is returned [supplied: to me], and behold, it is even in my sack. And their heart failed [supplied: them], and they were afraid, saying one to another, What is this [supplied: that] God has done to us?

זֹּ֛את zot “this”

And the man, the lord of the land, said to us, Hereby shall I know that ye are honest: leave one of your brethren with me, and take [supplied: for] the hunger of your households, and go,

בְּזֹ֣את (זֹ֣את) Zot “this”

And their father Israel said to them, If it is then so, do this: take of the best fruits in the land in your vessels, and carry down the man a gift: a little balsam and a little honey, tragacanth and ladanum, pistacia-nuts and almonds.

זֹ֣את zot “this”

And the men took that gift, and took double money in their hand, and Benjamin, and rose up, and went down to Egypt, and came before Joseph.

הַזֹּ֔את (זֹּ֔את) Zot “this”

And he said, Far be it from me to do so! The man in whose hand the cup has been found, he shall be my bondman; but as for you, go up in peace to your father.

זֹ֑את Zot “this”

And Pharaoh said to Joseph, Say to thy brethren, Do this: load your beasts and depart, go into the land of Canaan,

זֹ֣את zot “this”

And thou art commanded -- this do: take waggons out of the land of Egypt for your little ones and for your wives, and take up your father, and come.

זֹ֣את zot “this”

And to his father he sent this: ten asses laden with the good things of Egypt, and ten she-asses laden with corn and bread, and food for his father by the way.

כְּזֹאת֙ (זֹאת֙) zoT “this”

and he said to me, Behold, I will make thee fruitful and multiply thee, and I will make of thee a company of peoples; and will give this land to thy seed after thee [supplied: for] an everlasting possession.

הַזֹּ֛את (זֹּ֛את) Zot “this”

All these are the twelve tribes of Israel, and this is what their father spoke to them; and he blessed them: every one according to his blessing he blessed them.

וְ֠זֹאת (זֹאת) zot “this”

And Joseph said to his brethren, I die; and God will certainly visit you, and bring you up out of this land, into the land that he swore unto Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob.

הַזֹּ֔את (זֹּ֔את) Zot “this”

Thus saith Jehovah: In this shalt thou know that I am Jehovah -- behold, I will smite with the staff that is in my hand upon the water which is in the river, and it shall be turned into blood.

בְּזֹ֣את (זֹ֣את) Zot “this”

And Pharaoh turned and went into his house, and took not this to heart either.
