If now [supplied: thou hast] understanding, hear this: Hearken to the voice of my words.

זֹּ֑את Zot “this”

Thinkest thou this to be [supplied: thy] right, [supplied: Or] sayest thou, My righteousness is more than God's,

הֲ֭זֹאת (זֹאת) zot “this”

Yea, at this my heart trembleth, And is moved out of its place.

לְ֭זֹאת (זֹאת) zot “this”

Hearken unto this, O Job: Stand still, and consider the wondrous works of God.

זֹּ֣את zot “this”

And after this Job lived a hundred and forty years, and saw his sons, and his sons' sons, [supplied: even] four generations.

זֹ֔את Zot “this”

O Jehovah my God, if I have done this; If there be iniquity in my hands;

זֹ֑את Zot “this”

הַזֹּ֑את (זֹּ֑את) Zot “this”

Though a host should encamp against me, My heart shall not fear: Though war should rise against me, Even then will I be confident.

בְּ֝זֹ֗את (זֹ֗את) Zot “this”

For this let every one that is godly pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found: Surely when the great waters overflow they shall not reach unto him.

זֹ֡את zot “this”

By this I know that thou delightest in me, Because mine enemy doth not triumph over me.

בְּזֹ֣את (זֹ֣את) Zot “this”

All this is come upon us; Yet have we not forgotten thee, Neither have we dealt falsely in thy covenant.

זֹ֣את zot “this”

Will not God search this out? For he knoweth the secrets of the heart.

זֹ֑את Zot “this”

Hear this, all ye peoples; Give ear, all ye inhabitants of the world,

זֹ֭את zot “this”

Now consider this, ye that forget God, Lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver:

זֹ֭את zot “this”

When I thought how I might know this, It was too painful for me;

זֹ֑את Zot “this”

Remember this, that the enemy hath reproached, O Jehovah, And that a foolish people hath blasphemed thy name.

זֹ֗את Zot “this”

For all this they sinned still, And believed not in his wondrous works.

זֹ֭את zot “this”

Turn again, we beseech thee, O God of hosts: Look down from heaven, and behold, and visit this vine,

זֹֽאת׃ Zot “this”

A brutish man knoweth not; Neither doth a fool understand this:

זֹֽאת׃ Zot “this”

This shall be written for the generation to come; And a people which shall be created shall praise Jehovah.

זֹ֭את zot “this”

This is the reward of mine adversaries from Jehovah, And of them that speak evil against my soul.

זֹ֤את zot “this”

That they may know that this is thy hand; [supplied: That] thou, Jehovah, hast done it.

זֹּ֑את Zot “this”

This is Jehovah's doing; It is marvellous in our eyes.

זֹּ֑את Zot “this”

This is my comfort in my affliction; For thy word hath quickened me.

זֹ֣את zot “this”

This I have had, Because I have kept thy precepts.

זֹ֥את zot “this”
