And, behold, Amariah the chief priest is over you in all matters of the LORD; and Zebadiah the son of Ishmael, the ruler of the house of Judah, in all the king's matters; also the officers of the Levites before you. Deal courageously, and the LORD be wit

וְהִנֵּ֡ה (הִנֵּ֡ה) hi.Neh “here!”

Then there came some that told Jehoshaphat, saying: `There cometh a great multitude against thee from beyond the sea from Aram; and, behold, they are in Hazazon-tamar' --the same is En-gedi.

וְהִנָּם֙ (הִנָּ) hi.Na “there”

And now, behold, the children of Ammon and Moab and mount Seir, whom Thou wouldest not let Israel invade, when they came out of the land of Egypt, but they turned aside from them, and destroyed them not;

הִנֵּה֩ hi.Neh “here!”

behold, they render unto us evil, to come to cast us out of Thy possession, which Thou hast given us to inherit.

וְהִ֨נֵּה־ (הִ֨נֵּה) Hi.neh- “here!”

behold, the LORD will smite with a great plague thy people, and thy children, and thy wives, and all thy substance;

הִנֵּ֣ה hi.Neh “here!”

And all the congregation made a covenant with the king in the house of God. And he said unto them: 'Behold, the king's son shall reign, as the LORD hath spoken concerning the sons of David.

and she looked, and, behold, the king stood on his platform at the entrance, and the captains and the trumpets by the king; and all the people of the land rejoiced, and blew with trumpets; the singers also played on instruments of music, and led the sing

וְהִנֵּ֣ה (הִנֵּ֣ה) hi.Neh “there!”

Thou sayest--lo, thou hast smitten Edom; will thy heart therefore lift thee up to glory therein? abide now at home; why shouldest thou meddle with evil, that thou shouldest fall, even thou, and Judah with thee?'

And Azariah the chief priest, and all the priests, looked upon him, and, behold, he was leprous in his forehead, and they thrust him out quickly from thence; yea, himself made haste also to go out, because the LORD had smitten him.

Yet now our flesh is as the flesh of our brethren, our children as their children; and, lo, we bring into bondage our sons and our daughters to be servants, and some of our daughters are brought into bondage already; neither is it in our power to help it

And I discerned, and, lo, God had not sent him; for he pronounced this prophecy against me, whereas Tobiah and Sanballat had hired him.

וְהִנֵּ֥ה (הִנֵּ֥ה) hi.Neh “there!”

Behold, we are servants this day, and as for the land that Thou gavest unto our fathers to eat the fruit thereof and the good thereof, behold, we are servants in it.

Then the king Ahasuerus said unto Esther the queen and to Mordecai the Jew: 'Behold, I have given Esther the house of Haman, and him they have hanged upon the gallows, because he laid his hand upon the Jews.

And the LORD said unto Satan: 'Behold, all that he hath is in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thy hand.' So Satan went forth from the presence of the LORD.

הִנֵּ֤ה hi.Neh “there!”

And, behold, there came a great wind from across the wilderness, and smote the four corners of the house, and it fell upon the young people, and they are dead; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee.'

Lo, let that night be desolate; let no joyful voice come therein.

Behold, thou hast instructed many, and thou hast strengthened the weak hands.

Behold, happy is the man whom God correcteth; therefore despise not thou the chastening of the Almighty.

Lo this, we have searched it, so it is; hear it, and know thou it for thy good.

If it be a matter of strength, lo, He is mighty! and if of justice, who will appoint me a time?

Behold now, I have ordered my cause; I know that I shall be justified.
