H1129–בָּנָה–ba.nah

And behold, I purpose to build a house unto the name of Jehovah my God, as Jehovah spoke to David my father saying, Thy son, whom I will set upon thy throne in thy stead, he shall build a house unto my name.

לִבְנ֣וֹת (בְנ֣וֹת) v.Not “build”יִבְנֶ֥ה yiv.Neh “he will build”

And Solomon's builders and Hiram's builders and the Giblites hewed them, and prepared timber and stones to build the house.

בֹּנֵ֧י bo.Nei “[the] builders of”וּבֹנֵ֥י (בֹנֵ֥י) vo.Nei “[the] builders of”לִבְנ֥וֹת (בְנ֥וֹת) v.Not “build”

And it came to pass in the four hundred and eightieth year after the children of Israel were come out of the land of Egypt, in the fourth year of Solomon's reign over Israel, in the month Zif, which is the second month, that he began to build the house of Jehovah.

וַיִּ֥בֶן (יִּ֥בֶן) i.Yi.ven “he built”

And the house that king Solomon built for Jehovah was sixty cubits in length, and twenty in breadth, and thirty cubits in height.

בָּנָ֜ה ba.Nah “he built”

And against the wall of the house he built floors round about, [supplied: against] the walls of the house, round about the temple and the oracle; and he made side-chambers round about.

וַיִּבֶן֩ (יִּבֶן֩) i.yi.Ven “he built”

And the house, when it was being built, was built of stone entirely made ready before it was brought thither; so that there was neither hammer nor axe nor any tool of iron heard in the house while it was being built.

בְּהִבָּ֣נֹת֔וֹ (הִבָּ֣נֹת֔) hi.Ba.no.T “was built”נִבְנָ֑ה niv.Nah “it was built”בְּהִבָּנֹתֽוֹ׃ (הִבָּנֹתֽ) hi.ba.no.T “was built”

And he built the house, and finished it; and covered the house with beams and boards of cedar.

וַיִּ֥בֶן (יִּ֥בֶן) i.Yi.ven “he built”

And he built the floors against all the house, five cubits high; and they held to the house by the timbers of cedar.

וַיִּ֤בֶן (יִּ֤בֶן) i.Yi.ven “he built”

As to this house which thou art building, if thou wilt walk in my statutes, and practise mine ordinances, and keep all my commandments to walk in them, then will I perform my word as to thee which I spoke unto David thy father;

בֹנֶ֗ה vo.Neh “[are] building”

And Solomon built the house and finished it.

וַיִּ֧בֶן (יִּ֧בֶן) i.Yi.ven “he built”

And he built the walls of the house within with boards of cedar, from the floor of the house to the walls of the roof; he overlaid [supplied: them] on the inside with wood, and overlaid the floor of the house with boards of cypress.

וַיִּבֶן֩ (יִּבֶן֩) i.yi.Ven “he built”

And he built twenty cubits of the innermost part of the house, both floor and walls, with boards of cedar; and he built [supplied: them] for it within, to [supplied: be] the oracle, the most holy place.

And he built the inner court of three rows of hewn stone, and a row of cedar-beams.

וַיִּ֙בֶן֙ (יִּ֙בֶן֙) i.Yi.ven “he built”

and in the eleventh year, in the month Bul, which is the eighth month, was the house finished in all its parts, and according to all the fashion of it. So he was seven years in building it.

וַיִּבְנֵ֖הוּ (יִּבְנֵ֖) i.yiv.Ne. “he built”

And Solomon was thirteen years building his own house; and he finished all his house.

בָּנָ֣ה ba.Nah “he built”

And he built the house of the forest of Lebanon; its length was a hundred cubits, and its breadth fifty cubits, and its height thirty cubits, upon four rows of cedar-pillars, with cedar-beams upon the pillars;

וַיִּ֜בֶן (יִּ֜בֶן) i.Yi.ven “he built”

I have indeed built a house of habitation for thee, a settled place for thee to abide in for ever.

בָּנֹ֥ה ba.Noh “certainly <to build>”בָנִ֛יתִי va.Ni.ti “I have built”

Since the day that I brought forth my people Israel out of Egypt, I chose no city out of all the tribes of Israel to build a house in, that my name might be there; but I have chosen David to be over my people Israel.

And it was in the heart of David my father to build a house unto the name of Jehovah the God of Israel.

לִבְנ֣וֹת (בְנ֣וֹת) v.Not “build”

But Jehovah said to David my father, Whereas it was in thy heart to build a house unto my name, thou didst well that it was in thy heart;

לִבְנ֥וֹת (בְנ֥וֹת) v.Not “build”

nevertheless thou shalt not build the house; but thy son that shall come forth out of thy loins, he shall build the house unto my name.

תִבְנֶ֖ה tiv.Neh “you will build”יִבְנֶ֥ה yiv.Neh “he will build”

And Jehovah has performed his word which he spoke; and I am risen up in the room of David my father, and sit on the throne of Israel, as Jehovah promised, and I have built the house unto the name of Jehovah the God of Israel.

וָאֶבְנֶ֣ה (אֶבְנֶ֣ה) 'ev.Neh “I have built”

But will God indeed dwell on the earth? Behold, the heavens, and the heaven of heavens, cannot contain thee; how much less this house which I have built!

בָּנִֽיתִי׃ ba.Ni.ti “I have built”

hear thou in the heavens thy dwelling-place, and do according to all that the stranger calleth to thee for; in order that all peoples of the earth may know thy name, [supplied: and] that they may fear thee as do thy people Israel; and that they may know that this house which I have built is called by thy name.

בָּנִֽיתִי׃ ba.Ni.ti “I have built”

If thy people go out to battle against their enemy, by the way that thou shalt send them, and they pray to Jehovah toward the city that thou hast chosen, and the house that I have built unto thy name;

בָּנִ֥תִי ba.Ni.ti “I have built”
