And am I now come up without Jehovah against this land to destroy it? Jehovah said unto me, Go up against this land, and destroy it.

until I come and take you away to a land like your own land, a land of grain and new wine, a land of bread and vineyards.

אֶ֣רֶץ 'E.retz “a land”כְּאַרְצְכֶ֑ם (אַרְצְ) 'ar.tze. “own land”אֶ֤רֶץ 'E.retz “a land of”אֶ֥רֶץ 'E.retz “a land of”

Beware lest Hezekiah persuade you, saying, Jehovah will deliver us. Hath any of the gods of the nations delivered his land out of the hand of the king of Assyria?

Who are they among all the gods of these countries, that have delivered their country out of my hand, that Jehovah should deliver Jerusalem out of my hand?

הָֽאֲרָצוֹת֙ (אֲרָצוֹת֙) 'a.ra.tzOt “lands”אַרְצָ֖ם (אַרְצָ֖) 'ar.Tza “land”

Behold, I will put a spirit in him, and he shall hear tidings, and shall return unto his own land; and I will cause him to fall by the sword in his own land.

Behold, thou hast heard what the kings of Assyria have done to all lands, by destroying them utterly: and shalt thou be delivered?

הָאֲרָצ֖וֹת (אֲרָצ֖וֹת) 'a.ra.Tzot “lands”

O Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel, that sittest [supplied: above] the cherubim, thou art the God, even thou alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth; thou hast made heaven and earth.

הָאָ֑רֶץ (אָ֑רֶץ) 'A.retz “earth”הָאָֽרֶץ׃ (אָֽרֶץ) 'A.retz “earth”

Of a truth, Jehovah, the kings of Assyria have laid waste all the countries, and their land,

הָאֲרָצ֖וֹת (אֲרָצ֖וֹת) 'a.ra.Tzot “lands”אַרְצָֽם׃ (אַרְצָֽ) 'ar.Tza “land”

Now therefore, O Jehovah our God, save us from his hand, that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that thou art Jehovah, even thou only.

And it came to pass, as he was worshipping in the house of Nisroch his god, that Adrammelech and Sharezer his sons smote him with the sword; and they escaped into the land of Ararat. And Esar-haddon his son reigned in his stead.

I said, I shall not see Jehovah, [supplied: even] Jehovah in the land of the living: I shall behold man no more with the inhabitants of the world.

Then came Isaiah the prophet unto king Hezekiah, and said unto him, What said these men? and from whence came they unto thee? And Hezekiah said, They are come from a far country unto me, even from Babylon.

Who hath measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, and meted out heaven with the span, and comprehended the dust of the earth in a measure, and weighed the mountains in scales, and the hills in a balance?

הָאָ֑רֶץ (אָ֑רֶץ) 'A.retz “earth”

Have ye not known? have yet not heard? hath it not been told you from the beginning? have ye not understood from the foundations of the earth?

הָאָֽרֶץ׃ (אָֽרֶץ) 'A.retz “earth”

[supplied: It is] he that sitteth above the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in;

הָאָ֔רֶץ (אָ֔רֶץ) 'A.retz “earth”

that bringeth princes to nothing; that maketh the judges of the earth as vanity.

אֶ֖רֶץ 'E.retz “[the] earth”

Yea, they have not been planted; yea, they have not been sown; yea, their stock hath not taken root in the earth: moreover he bloweth upon them, and they wither, and the whirlwind taketh them away as stubble.

בָּאָ֖רֶץ (אָ֖רֶץ) 'A.retz “ground”

Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard? The everlasting God, Jehovah, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary; there is no searching of his understanding.

הָאָ֔רֶץ (אָ֔רֶץ) 'A.retz “earth”

The isles have seen, and fear; the ends of the earth tremble; they draw near, and come.

הָאָ֖רֶץ (אָ֖רֶץ) 'A.retz “earth”

thou whom I have taken hold of from the ends of the earth, and called from the corners thereof, and said unto thee, Thou art my servant, I have chosen thee and not cast thee away;

הָאָ֔רֶץ (אָ֔רֶץ) 'A.retz “earth”

I will open rivers on the bare heights, and fountains in the midst of the valleys; I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water.

וְאֶ֥רֶץ (אֶ֥רֶץ) 'E.retz “a land”

He will not fail nor be discouraged, till he have set justice in the earth; and the isles shall wait for his law.

בָּאָ֖רֶץ (אָ֖רֶץ) 'A.retz “earth”

Thus saith God Jehovah, he that created the heavens, and stretched them forth; he that spread abroad the earth and that which cometh out of it; he that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein:

Sing unto Jehovah a new song, and his praise from the end of the earth; ye that go down to the sea, and all that is therein, the isles, and the inhabitants thereof.

הָאָ֑רֶץ (אָ֑רֶץ) 'A.retz “earth”

I will say to the north, Give up; and to the south, Keep not back; bring my sons from far, and my daughters from the end of the earth;
