Let them praise the name of Jehovah: for his name alone is exalted; his majesty is above the earth and the heavens.

אֶ֥רֶץ 'E.retz “earth”

For the upright shall dwell in the land, and the perfect shall remain in it;

אָ֑רֶץ 'A.retz “[the] land”

but the wicked shall be cut off from the land, and the unfaithful shall be plucked up out of it.

מֵאֶ֣רֶץ (אֶ֣רֶץ) 'E.retz “[the] land”

Jehovah by wisdom founded the earth; by understanding he established the heavens.

אָ֑רֶץ 'A.retz “[the] earth”

I was set up from eternity, from the beginning, before the earth was.

אָֽרֶץ׃ 'A.retz “[the] earth”

while as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the beginning of the dust of the world.

אֶ֣רֶץ 'E.retz “[the] earth”

when he imposed on the sea his decree that the waters should not pass his commandment, when he appointed the foundations of the earth:

אָֽרֶץ׃ 'A.retz “[the] earth”

rejoicing in the habitable part of his earth, and my delights [supplied: were] with the sons of men.

אַרְצ֑וֹ (אַרְצ֑) 'ar.Tz “earth”

The righteous [supplied: man] shall never be moved; but the wicked shall not inhabit the land.

אָֽרֶץ׃ 'A.retz “[the] land”

Behold, the righteous shall be requited on the earth: how much more the wicked and the sinner.

בָּאָ֣רֶץ (אָ֣רֶץ) 'A.retz “earth”

Wisdom is before him that hath understanding; but the eyes of a fool are in the ends of the earth.

אָֽרֶץ׃ 'A.retz “[the] earth”

It is better to dwell in a desert land. than with a contentious and irritable woman.

בְּאֶֽרֶץ־ (אֶֽרֶץ) 'e.retz- “a land of”

The heavens for height, and the earth for depth, and the heart of kings is unsearchable.

וָאָ֣רֶץ (אָ֣רֶץ) 'A.retz “earth”

[supplied: As] cold waters to a thirsty soul, so is good news from a far country.

מֵאֶ֥רֶץ (אֶ֥רֶץ) 'E.retz “a land of”

By the transgression of a land many are the princes thereof; but by a man of understanding [supplied: and] of knowledge, [supplied: its] stability is prolonged.

אֶ֭רֶץ 'E.retz “a land”

A king by just judgment establisheth the land; but he that taketh gifts overthroweth it.

אָ֑רֶץ 'A.retz “a land”

Who hath ascended up into the heavens, and descended? Who hath gathered the wind in his fists? Who hath bound the waters in a mantle? Who hath established all the ends of the earth? What is his name, and what is his son's name, if thou knowest?

אָ֑רֶץ 'A.retz “[the] earth”

-- a generation whose teeth are swords, and their jaw-teeth knives, to devour the afflicted from off the earth, and the needy from [supplied: among] men.

מֵאֶ֑רֶץ (אֶ֑רֶץ) 'E.retz “[the] earth”

-- Sheol, and the barren womb; the earth which is not filled with water, and the fire which saith not, It is enough.

אֶ֭רֶץ 'E.retz “land”

Under three [supplied: things] the earth is disquieted, and under four it cannot bear up:

אֶ֑רֶץ 'E.retz “[the] earth”

There are four [supplied: things] little upon the earth, and they are exceeding wise:

אָ֑רֶץ 'A.retz “[the] earth”

Her husband is known in the gates, when he sitteth among the elders of the land.

אָֽרֶץ׃ 'A.retz “[the] land”

[supplied: One] generation passeth away, and [supplied: another] generation cometh, but the earth standeth for ever.

וְהָאָ֖רֶץ (אָ֖רֶץ) 'A.retz “earth”

Be not rash with thy mouth, and let not thy heart be hasty to utter anything before God: for God is in the heavens, and thou upon earth; therefore let thy words be few.

הָאָ֔רֶץ (אָ֔רֶץ) 'A.retz “earth”

Moreover the earth is every way profitable: the king [supplied: himself] is dependent upon the field.
