Wilt thou then say before him that slayeth thee, I am God? but thou shalt be a man, and not God, in the hand of him that pierceth thee.

אָ֔נִי 'A.ni “I”

Thou shalt die the deaths of the uncircumcised, by the hand of strangers: for I have spoken [supplied: it], saith the Lord Jehovah.

אֲנִ֣י 'a.Ni “I”

and say, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I am against thee, Zidon, and I will be glorified in the midst of thee; and they shall know that I [supplied: am] Jehovah, when I shall have executed judgments in her, and shall be hallowed in her.

אֲנִ֣י 'a.Ni “I”

And I will send into her the pestilence, and blood in her streets; and the wounded shall fall in the midst of her, by the sword upon her on every side: and they shall know that I [supplied: am] Jehovah.

אֲנִ֥י 'a.Ni “I”

And there shall be no more a wounding sting for the house of Israel, nor any grieving thorn, among all that were round about them, that despised them: and they shall know that I [supplied: am] the Lord Jehovah.

אֲנִ֖י 'a.Ni “I”

They shall dwell in it in safety, and shall build houses and plant vineyards; and they shall dwell in safety, when I have executed judgments upon all those that despised them round about them: and they shall know that I [supplied: am] Jehovah their God.

אֲנִ֥י 'a.Ni “I”

speak, and say, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I am against thee, Pharaoh king of Egypt, the great monster that lieth in the midst of his rivers, which saith, My river is mine own, and I made it for myself.

וַאֲנִ֥י (אֲנִ֥י) 'a.Ni “I”

And all the inhabitants of Egypt shall know that I [supplied: am] Jehovah, because they have been a staff of reed to the house of Israel.

אֲנִ֣י 'a.Ni “I”

And the land of Egypt shall be a desolation and a waste: and they shall know that I [supplied: am] Jehovah, because he saith, The river is mine, and I made it.

אֲנִ֣י 'a.Ni “I”וַאֲנִ֥י (אֲנִ֥י) 'a.Ni “I”

And it shall be no more the confidence of the house of Israel, bringing iniquity to remembrance, when they turn after them: and they shall know that I [supplied: am] the Lord Jehovah.

אֲנִ֖י 'a.Ni “I”

In that day will I cause the horn of the house of Israel to bud forth, and I will give thee the opening of the mouth in the midst of them: and they shall know that I [supplied: am] Jehovah.

אֲנִ֥י 'a.Ni “I”

And they shall know that I [supplied: am] Jehovah, when I have set a fire in Egypt, and all her helpers shall be broken.

אֲנִ֣י 'a.Ni “I”

And I will make the rivers dry, and sell the land into the hand of the wicked; and I will make the land desolate, and all that is therein, by the hand of strangers: I Jehovah have spoken [supplied: it].

אֲנִ֥י 'a.Ni “I”

Thus will I execute judgments in Egypt; and they shall know that I [supplied: am] Jehovah.

אֲנִ֥י 'a.Ni “I”

And I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon, and the arms of Pharaoh shall fall down; and they shall know that I [supplied: am] Jehovah, when I have put my sword into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall have stretched it out upon the land of Egypt.

אֲנִ֣י 'a.Ni “I”

And I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and disperse them through the countries: and they shall know that I [supplied: am] Jehovah.

אֲנִ֥י 'a.Ni “I”

When I shall make the land of Egypt a desolation, and the country shall be left desolate of all that was in it, when I have smitten all them that dwell therein, then shall they know that I [supplied: am] Jehovah.

אֲנִ֥י 'a.Ni “I”

Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord Jehovah, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live. Turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?

אָ֣נִי׀ 'A.ni “of me”

Say thou thus unto them, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: [supplied: As] I live, verily they that are in the waste places shall fall by the sword, and him that is in the open field will I give to the beasts to be devoured, and they that are in the strongholds and in the caves shall die of the pestilence.

אָנִי֒ 'a.Ni “of me”

And they shall know that I [supplied: am] Jehovah, when I have made the land a desolation and an astonishment because of all their abominations which they have committed.

אֲנִ֣י 'a.Ni “I”

[supplied: As] I live, saith the Lord Jehovah, verily because my sheep have been a prey, and my sheep have been meat to every beast of the field, because there was no shepherd, and my shepherds searched not for my flock, but the shepherds fed themselves, and fed not my flock,

אָ֜נִי 'A.ni “of me”

For thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold I, [supplied: even] I, will both search for my sheep, and tend them.

אָ֕נִי 'A.ni “I”

I will myself feed my flock, and I will cause them to lie down, saith the Lord Jehovah.

אֲנִ֨י 'a.Ni “I”וַאֲנִ֣י (אֲנִ֣י) 'a.Ni “I”

Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah unto them: Behold, [supplied: it is] I, and I will judge between the fat sheep and the lean sheep.

אָ֕נִי 'A.ni “I”

And I Jehovah will be their God, and my servant David a prince in their midst: I Jehovah have spoken [supplied: it].
