G5618–ὥσπερ–hōsper

For as the woman [supplied: is] of the man, so also [supplied: is] the man by the woman, but all things of God.

ὥσπερ hōsper “Just as”

For as in the Adam all die, thus also in the Christ all shall be made alive.

Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I directed the assemblies of Galatia, so do *ye* do also.

but even as ye abound in every way, in faith, and word, and knowledge, and all diligence, and in love from you to us, that ye may abound in this grace also.

But as then he that was born according to flesh persecuted him [supplied: that was born] according to Spirit, so also [supplied: it is] now.

When they may say, Peace and safety, then sudden destruction comes upon them, as travail upon her that is with child; and they shall in no wise escape.

For he that has entered into his rest, he also has rested from his works, as God did from his own.

who has not day by day need, as the high priests, first to offer up sacrifices for his own sins, then [supplied: for] those of the people; for this he did once for all [supplied: in] having offered up himself.

nor in order that he should offer himself often, as the high priest enters into the holy places every year with blood not his own;

For as the body without a spirit is dead, so also faith without works is dead.

and cried with a loud voice as a lion roars. And when he cried, the seven thunders uttered their own voices.
